Hopefully this set will release sooner than later. I'm more interested in sellers on eBay breaking up the set so I can finally get a Mouse Droid.

I thought I would hate BB8 when I saw promo stuff before TFA, but I thought he was great. Loved him in TFA. Then TLJ ruined it all.

Final production BB-8 photos are up. Is this orange brighter and more accurate now than the TFA version?

It's in the direction of being more accurate. The original HT version was too dark. This one is brighter and is good enough for me. But I'm not overly picky.

Yeah they got the brighter orange right this time, but it's also less heavily weathered than before. And it's still missing the lights on the main body. I would have gladly given up the "rollability" if it meant having those extra lights inserted into it.

Yeah, I’m surprised to see the lights on the throw away droid but not BB-8. That said I just ordered the pair from Timcent for basically retail and free shipping.

I decided not to preorder this set. But I saw the recent photos and ended up ordering from Timcent since I would end up saving the cost of shipping and tax from the domestic sellers.

I wanted the updated BB-8 as I was banking on the colors being improved. Mainly just have a TFA display with Finn Stormtrooper, Rey, and Han. Though I have old Luke and Ren from TLJ ordered as I prefer those outfits to the TFA ones.
