I don't mind battle damaged versions of the Predators as long as they make a significant distinction between the two to justify the purchase. Resculpting a Predator and adding a couple dabs of green paint is not worth it IMO, but if they include a new base and/or weapons or maybe an alien skull too that might be good enough.

It would also give newcomers a chance to pick up a character they might've missed out on. This is also good for customizers that want an extra Pred that they can strip down and repaint.

I still think that if he'd been a standard release everybody would've treated him like Lost. Those who have Lost would pick him up while those who don't would find some _____y, retentive justification not to.

I agree.
A "perfect" ,"complete", "inclusive" "unique""DX" version of each predator: Including all the accesories, stuff, gadgets we have seen in the movie would be fair (and the tight prize too)

Please, Hottoys try to avoid us: "Damaged versions" or "extra stuff" "exclusive/ limited editions"

Why the ____ would you want, let alone need PERS on a predator?! Without that a DX is just a pretty box and light-up stand. I think a heavy stacked MMS would be more than adequate and more impressive than a DX.

I know perfectly well, that if you put a title of limited/ exclusive edition, then the figure becomes like something "special" and coveted... The price will rise up and would be prohibitive..(Guardian Predator ???). and THAT'S WHAT I DO NOT WANT


PS: I, bought The "Lost predator" at 129$ , because I,m a predator fan and love this figure, nevertheless I,m pretty sure if it had been a "Limited Edition" like the "Guardian predator" the price had been so high that it would not have to buy it

At least these releases give people a chance to get some Preds that are basically unattainable anymore, I dont have any others then P1 and im not dropping all kinds of mullah on the old ones now

Word to the wise..... mentioning a Predator in conjunction with the term "DX" will have every ____ing newb and their grandmother starting DX Predator wishlist threads.

I will stand my my initial comment that if HT was gonna do a predator as a con exclusive, I couldn't think of a better one than Guardian. He's a background character who had less screentime than most of the others making him a nice, but non-essential edition to the collection. By very definition he is the perfect candidate for a con ex. The only reason this much fuss has been made is because, quite frankly, not everybody can have one. And that, in and of itself, is the only reason such a tittybaby fuss is being made over him and why we're seeing freaks in this thread we've never seen in the A&R board before calling themselves "hardcore predator fans" ranting about how they got screwed by the PPO.
