Wait, you were serious? :lol

I guess I assumed you already had this figure.

Do you have the OC Batman? If so, you might think twice about getting this. It's unlikely that you'll get one that is problem free, and you can't call up Sideshow for replacement parts anymore. :(

Capes?

As far as the Takara gauntlets go, you will most likely have to buy the whole figure.

Here's one for a decent price on the bay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Takara-1-6...ultDomain_0&hash=item20c07bbed1#ht_500wt_1156

It looks like it might come with one of lforigno's capes, which would kill two birds with one stone for you. :) (I would message the guy to find out more about the cape.)

Again, I'm not sure where you are at with Begins Batmen, but if you get the whole Takara figure you can do like me and use him for your first night out Bat and just swap the gauntlets with the HT Bat... see below:

(Sorry for the crappy Takara pose, it can look much better than that... also, I have a better/less lumpy head to go with the ski mask now.)

that´s a kick ass bruce wayne in suit :clap
what body and suit did you use ?

btw....how do you fit the cape properly?.... I removed the black plastic washers on the cape....pushed the cape clips in hard untill they seemed to not come out and then i fitted the head....but now the triangular clip heads still feel loose....i think the clips are not fitted right....should they pop in?.....the clips just goes into the rubber suit right....or do they go through the suit into holes in the body?

When you finally get them in good and all the way you'll hear the sweet pop or click sound.

You really have to have good finger strength. It IS frustrating. It took me nearly 10 minutes of trying. I was pushing so hard I was shaking. I gave up on being delicate and just got angry and frustrated enough that it finally SNAPPED in.

lol...i was busy for well over an hour the other day changing him to the batman outfit....you are right after a while one just gets so angry that you dont care about breaking anything....luckily i didnt.

Yeah at some point you have to say if I break it I break it and if it breaks that easily then it was a piece of **** to begin with. All that holds this together is some what I feel like flimsy plastic pieces. You have your triangular pieces that go through the fabric cape. Then you have your washers on the inside of the rubber suit as the other side of the snap. Shoot that little tiny plastic knob from the triangular pieces in through the rubber and snapped together with the washer. No pieces go through the body. You really just have to put a finger on the inside of the suit to help keep the pieces lined up through the hole. I even put my finger in and stretched the rubber up a little.

yes i noticed that u must put your finger inside the suit to hold the part inside the suit steady.

I keep hearing about people replacing HT gauntlets, with Takara ones. Why is it so? Are they more screen accurate in shape, or is it just about the gloss?

Shape is also more accurate

Don't know why you're laughing. You can see the difference in the shape in the photo above (the one with the two Batmen and Bruce Wayne). And if you compare it with a photo of Batman from the Movie, you'll see the Takara is more accurate, it has more of a curve to it.

I was laughing because when I saw void say anatomically correct, I wasn't thinking of Batman gaunlets :lol
