Haha, I didn't paint the eyes, I just use the micro pen 005 to draw a line on top of both eyes.

I used to be crazy but now that the price of theses just keeps going up and up I've learned to love stock figures

Those SS 1/6 Lotr figures I have have taken quit the beating from me though especially Aragorn and Legolas of course, I, however, only spent $40 on those not $230

yep! and what really brought the message home for me was trying out that helmet mod for the HT Thor Figure. totally screwed that one up and had to spend another $20 for that. what was a good $140 deal on thor turned out to end up costing me regular price. never again I tell ya, NEVA!!!:

I bought a spare helmet and also did that mod (it was a _____ getting the wings back on evenly wasn't it ), then I sold it because I wanted the stock on his head.

I'm addicted to stock.

Anyone have a spare right boot? Even if it's a broken ankle it's okay. I realized my replacement boot from SS was broken too, tried to repair but ended up just stretching it out. I'd rather have an internally broken boot than a cosmetically weird looking one.

For a while this used to be my least liked figure in my collection but it really is a figure that requires a lot of love and if you put the effort into the pose it really can transform him. Now I've spent some time futzing him he's probably the centre piece of my entire collection

Should probably treat him to a custom cape soon though...

This figure is night and day with a custom velvet cape.
Get it, seriously, one of the best investment for a figure.

It's hard to explain it all in type... I just wasn't a fan of the film in general, and I was big into Batman at the time it came out, when I first saw pics of the costume I hated it... to me it didn't seem uniformed and it was far too advanced for a first suit.

That's the short version... I still don't care much for the film, once we get past the "origin" stuff the plot is so silly, I feel it could have been something in a Ninja Turtles film.
