If I am not wrong, the length of the cape was scene specific. Get lforigno's custom cape; can choose the long or short one. You and pointy ears will surely be very happy. :)

I have a strong urge to repaint the body on mine.
I'm currently using the OC body cause on the shelf that I'm using, under the led, the new body is too matte compared to the cowl.
The suit looks too faded. Maybe it is fine under different lighting conditions, But on the shelf that I'm using, the contrast is too pronounced.

Hi,
I'm new here, but I've read over a few discussions of specific figures over the past few years. I was actually looking at this thread last night and noticed there have been QC issues with the "Batsuit Begins" Batman, so I started to worry about mine. I like a lot of my collectibles MISB, and this figure wasn't different. I got it last October and looked it over without removing it and left it in the box. Anyway I saw the issue about one or both of the foot pegs being broken and watched a youtube video; and it got me worried. Today I took my figure out and both feet were very loose. I tried to push them into the peg holes, but apparently they are broken; on one a piece of plastic broke off. I read that some people had their defective boots replaced, but it has been a long time since I got mine. Does anyone have advice on what to do? Would Sideshow possibly send replacement boots this late? Hope this was the right place to post this; if not I apologize.

No probs with the suit or ankles on mine. The suit still has that matt finish, too. :dunno

Damn, sorry to hear that.

You should contact SS ASAP. But I doubt they are gonna do anything since its past the 30days from date of purchase.

If not, just wait for the new DX 2.0 batman which should be announce soon and get the boots from that set to replace it.

I doubt Sideshow will do anything after this length of time -- it sold out a long time ago. Try contacting HT customer service.

:lecture This is your best bet. If you get boots from the TF version they'll eventually break anyway. They're defective.

Unfortunately HT customer service kinda sucks nowadays in responding emails, compared to what they were a few years back. I guess they've gotten too big, but fail to improve their CS.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I really appreciate it; I should have joined sooner. I sent Sideshow an e-mail asking if the had any spares, but I don't think I'll bother with Hot Toys CS, I haven't heard good things. I actually removed the boots from my DX-02 and they seem to be exactly the same. I was going to buy DX-12 anyways and was thinking about selling my DX-02; I guess it's off to eBay...

I have one of these and I haven't really messed around with the feet to much because of right now I do not have a place to display. My question is what is defective, the actual peg. So all you do is get some boots with the feet and pegs of course from another Batman and your good to go? I saw the mod where you sand down other feet and stuff into the boot.
