do any of you really think peeps give reviews for the sake of review? no, its just a vehicle to show off to the world that they have the item. to give a moment to feel special. its the truth.

Most "reviews" (especially on YouTube) are just pointless because they're done after figures have been shipped and sold out everywhere. It essentially boils down to what you said; the reviewer having bragging rights over a product that they've acquired and not everyone else has.

If someone really wants something, then they'll have to preorder well in advance instead of waiting for their favorite personality to give an opinion. Unless of course, they can afford the wait, as well as the marked up prices on EBay after the figure has been sold out.
