For what I payed for this figure, the dent isn't passable for me.

Sideshow has always charged more for their figures. They need to step up their game. I wouldn't even mind if they opened the figure and made sure everything was alright before they shipped. And as for not shipping within another box packed with bubble, this shouldn't be happening. They need to protect the figures just like BBTS does.

I agree with the product check, especially since the figure could have issues during transit from china. This is the 2nd Hot Toys figure ive purchased from Sideshow that has had problems straight from the box. Everything else ive bought from Ebay or comic book stores have never had any problems

My figure is the same, broken right ankle within the boot, sent an email to the replacement dept at Sideshow today. Sideshow has always been good about replacement parts though if you send it in soon enough so hopefully it will all work out.

I have the same exact problem as you, the dent and the broken boot.The problem doesn't seem to be a shipping error, more of a quality control issue. In fact the little piece that came out of the boot look like the same exact shape. The dent can go either way, seems like either a)the dent on the right did not form symmetrical to the left or the lack of the dent on the right didn't form correctly on the right. The dent is passable in my honest opinion, but the broken cup found within the boot is the most annoying thing. I looked closely at the broken piece and it look like it was very brittle, it probably didn't have enough time to cool before they wrapped it in the rubber boot mold.

I'm just curious...was the box beat up when it arrived? I haven't opened up mine yet (Been busy) and I'm worried about broken boot issue!

My box was perfectly fine, its an obvious quality control issue that goes back fall the way to the manufacturer in China

So this seems like a bad batch, that's clearly 3 people withe broken boot issue. I assume it was the right foot? Bigal list the dent as an issue. For me it seems like the dent/ab curve didn't form symmetrical right during the curing process. Not even sure if it should or shouldn't have the abdomen curve. Can anyone clarify this?

Anyone who has had any issues might want compare notes in case there was something else we/you missed

Issues So far:
=Broke rotor cup in the right boot.
=loose cylinder in the back of the belt
=Abdomen dent not symmetrical

I sent them an email this morning, stated I was the Reverend, and they immediately shipped out the package this afternoon...

They repented and found them salvation.

I emailed them last week and haven't gotten a response!

If your card has been already charged and it hasn't shipped, I think asking when it will ship is a fair question. When did your card get charged?

I'm not sure when I got charged, but when I went to the bank on friday it showed that there was $230 less in my account

When I got it, I was so excited, I didn't even notice the box. Looking at it now, it has two holes in it and big black scratches, like it was thrown around.

When I got my DX Bruce from BBTS, the Hot Toys box inside was FLAWLESS!

Got mine today. When the UPS guy handed me the figure in just the Hot Toys box, I knew something was wrong.

Right out of the box, broken boot and dented ab. I'm pissed. What is SS thinking? UPS throws their packages around and there is absolutely NO PROTECTION when SS ships in just the Hot Toys box.

I sent SS an e-mail, so I guess I'll just have to see what happens. From now on, I'm BBTS all the way. When I got my DX Bruce Lee, it was packaged like the pic above. If I hadn't given them $25 for the DX Indy, I would be cancelling. I'm done with Sideshow.

I hope you guys don't get ____ed up figures.

Yup, I don't try to order from SSC unless it's an EX. Hopefully mine show up safe and sound. BBTS is the way to go if you want excellent packaging and double boxes.

I wouldn't even know if mine has the boot problem or a problem with the abs. The feet looked kinda weird but I just straighten them out and they looked okay.
Mine does have quit a wicked indent just above his butt from his belt though. Doesn't bother me cause I can't notice it with the belt on.

Same here with the broken right ankle inside boot, pretty much the exact same way. Abdomen is fine however.

Geesh broken angles. That's one thing I have a problem paying high priced items for plastic toys which can be easily broken.
