Oh I loved that movie. Leo could have benefited from some proper traps. [emoji24]

Correct about the groin area thats the only thing i was worried about. Just a bit of futzing will have the groin area looking better.

Here's my theory on the groin area.

Skinny jeans often have a dropped crotch to allow for mobility. Having material fit that closely to the leg all the way up (with an equally tight fit at the hips) would prevent the wearer from spreading their legs. To compensate for the lack of fabric at the hips, extra fabric is used at the crotch so the pants have somewhere to stretch. I'm betting that's why HT did what they did here. Their choices were either A) retain the tight fit and drop the crotch or B) keep the crotch up but have a looser fit around his hips/upper thighs.

I disagree. Visually it's striking. Superman already met the superhero height requirement...does that mean no other human can be taller or more physically imposing than him? I don't understand the beef some have with snyders choice here. It's one thing to disagree with the tone of his films...but cmon, now we're actively complaining about having a taller batman?

That's truly nit picking IMO. Either that or they just truly hate Snyder and EVERYTHING he does is wrong.

I actually do think that pretty much every choice Snyder has made with these characters is wrong. Other than casting Cavill for Superman and Gadot for Wonder Woman, both solid choices in my opinion, I disagree with all of his other ideas. As far as the relative height of Superman and Batman, they’ve been shown to either be the same height in the comics, or Superman has been slightly taller. Batman has never, not one time, been depicted as being taller than Superman, and this is going back over 75 years now. So yeah, if collectors can decide Superman’s cape needs to be adjusted by a millimeter so that it’s movie accurate and they’re willing to take an x-acto knife to a two-hundred dollar figure to achieve a “cape mod” and not be called out for nitpicking, I think it’s perfectly reasonable for me to point out that Snyder’s aesthetic choices are at odds with the entire history of the representation of these characters. And that's not even getting into the idea of Batman being an older “mentor” to Superman--also a bad choice in my opinion.

Simple, don't buy it.

I'm not--I prefer the Keaton Batman. I'm just curious what people think of the massive size of this figure. Wouldn't it be out of scale with every other Hot Toys figure besides Superman? Other Hot Toys figures that are out of scale (I'm thinking of Arkham Batman and MOS Superman) have been criticized before, but this one seems to be getting a pass. i guess you could just chalk it up to Affleck being 6'4", but if you posed this Batman next to, say, Thor, who's roughly that height, I still think this one might tower over it.

Keaton's Batman was awful, I have no idea why people still love him. Outside of nostaliga I suppose.

This is why I'm keeping my MoS Superman...even if BvS Supes is screen accurate, MoS Supes is Comic accurate compared to this Bats.

So I have kinda hit a little financial snag and can only grab 2 out 3 BvS Batman. I know I know thats not really some horrible situation but I am trying to figure out which 2 I am gonna go with. After all 3 are now out I am seriously considering regular Batman and Armored since those are really his two main outfits...

Makes sense to me. The nightmare version looks incredible but in the scheme of things it carries the least importance.

But the knightmare versions is a beast!!
I am in the same boat man. I've ended up going for the regular and the knightmare.
