Thanks guys.
He's actually got neck articulation too, I'm way more impressed with this than I have been with any figure in a long time!
Hes really imposing, no modding is gonna be done on this one.
When I get my next one il mod it, this one is staying standard and in museum pose.
Il futz with him a bit more as Iv only spent half an hour and I'm already super impressed with how poseable he is.
His flexibility is really good, you will be able to get some great poses easily.

Straight out the box then literally a couple of minutes futzing.
This is pretty great straight away, il futz for it properly before I think about modding it. It's an amazing piece tho.
Dx amount of accessories.
Capes a lot better than I thought it would be
He has a big butt!

ha ha, he got an ***, ghetto butty. looks killer straight out of the box cant wait

I'm a huge fan of the movie. I've seen it 15 times between theatrical and UE.

But exactly the point you refereremce about seeing doom's heat vision was when he told Alfred he needed he spear.

And by the way. Wonder woman's sword cut his hand off so why didn't she stab him in head or chest?

Free speech is not hate speech. Sorry about my tone I'm just stressed about having to work the crotch on my figure when he arrives.

if you like its great to hear, I love batman v superman and suicide squad. I'm just tired of hearing all the complaints about them, when marvel has had more f ups

Looks great here Creasy

For an of a box shot, the shoulders, look good, not too skinny, the legs and crotch area look proportioned, the suit color looks perfect

Congrats :clap

Might I ask how much you paid, probably overpriced because it was a Tech Cowl exclusive from your box :slap

when batman first got there, he did not know there even was a doomsday until he shot lasers out of his eyes then he knew he had to get the spear. superman knew it was his place to take him out. ever thing makes sense, I have seen a lot of dumber movies get praise. quit hating and go on to the marvel thread

Thank you for a logical, common sense answer, it's refreshing.

I was an ***** and decided to wait a month before pulling the trigger on this guy and now hes sold out on Sideshow and BBTS. Does anyone know any other websites that still has this guy in stock? Preferably a website that doesn't have ridiculous shipping rates.

I'm thinking if WW did stab him it wouldn't kill him he would just regenerate the way his arm did. Only Kryptonite would damage tissue enough to kill

The idea of Superman sacrificing himself to save everybody ties in with the conversation he had with Pa Kent, about actions having consequence. He knew he was going to die and yet he went ahead with it anyway, because it was the right thing to do. This is something that carries through both movies, the idea that heroism is not without its consequences. I'm not sure how people missed this, especially given all the Christ symbolism.

My local comic shop said he did not come in yet while I was picking up Supes today. Maybe check that route. I too waited and missed the boat with the online retailers. I got the last Superman at my shop. They said they did not order many as they still had a supply of Man of Steel Super sitting in the back.

Do not agree at all... why would he hand it to WW... somebody he's only just met, and doesn't know the capabilities of.... add to that, Superman will feel responsibility for Doomday... although created by Lex, it is a Kryptonian creation, made with Kryptonian technology only on Earth because Superman triggered the distress beacon – personally I see it as him thinking it was ultimately his responsibility to get rid of Doomsday, and he sacrificed himself in doing so - an ultimate act of heroism!
Let's be fair though, if we were to start criticising every comic book movie for scenes that don't make sense like that, we would pick apart EVERY single one!

If he did hand it to WW then people would ***** that he shunned his responsibilities and didn't do it himself. HA HA

I agree with you tho, NO WAY he hands it off and doesn't do it himself.

My sentiments as well.

For one, I had no issue with it because to me, it was a group effort: Batman momentarily disoriented Doomsday with his remaining Kryptonite grenade (let's face it, that's really all he was able to do, as he's pretty much considered less than useless physically against something like Doomsday, especially when he's not fully familiar with these type of threats yet), WW contained him in one place with the Lasso of Truth so one could get close enough to impale him and Supes impaled him with the Kryptonite spear.

Sure you could analyze it and say in retrospect, one could have done this or that and what actually happened "made no sense", but to me, even if that was the case, in the heat of the moment when all you think about is what needs to be done, Supes to me is the one to make the sacrificial and doesn't shun from it nor think twice about it; he just does what he knows needs to be done. I like to think that the way he looked at Lois and gave his final speech to her, he was doing it directly for her and she was his reminder that he was doing it for the remaining good people who do believe in him and see him as a symbol of hope, to keep their world safe from this threat. As much as people are saying he's very un-Superman like in this film, can you imagine if when it came down to make the sacrificial play, he bowed out and requested that someone else do it instead?

Yeah straight out of the box it's really impressive, a couple of hours with it & I think I can have it looking perfect without the need for any body mods.
While the cape is good, it's stiff material.
Not sure if you could steam it or something like that to loosen it up.
It doesn't want to naturally drape on the floor behind him.
Can see why people cut the cape-the weathering on the bottom of it is really good tho.
So I'l see how I get on with it before I think about cutting it.
But that's only a minor gripe.
Ha, Yeah it wasn't cheap with ems shipping but a lot less than they are going for on eBay & still on par with uk prices,
I used to work for a tech company in Hong Kong & have still have friends there

Yeah we get that but the problem is the way it was done felt entirely forced for this sake.

And this kind of bad writing happens A LOT in this movie, not just here and there. So by the end, we're fed up with the bull**** and it sort of becomes a joke.

Agreed. Thought of that right as I finished typing. Good point.

Alfred was monitoring the situation for batman as he changed out of armor and got into batwing. He knew there was a beast in town. When he saw the heat vision and thought of the spear he should have flown back to where he left it and hooked it to batwing then died a hero's death. Now what would have occurred to him is that the Kryptonian monster may swipe away the batwing so batman would have to shoot him with the canister first from afar.

The bottom line is Batman stayed back and let the heavyweights handle it. And I'll remind him of that when I take a lighter to his crotch.

Even weakened, Superman had a better chance of succeeding in killing DD with the spear. When I said Batman would die had he tried to kill DD himself, he would do so fruitlessly ... Wasting their one shot to take the monster down.

This looks like a superb release. Can't wait to get hold of one, though I'm not sure what I'm going to do if prices in HK don't drop.

Too bad you are in the UK - here in the US we can get one at retail upon release.., best of luck he is just too great a figure to pass up!

Loving all the pics and coverage this figure is getting. ClipperKing and DeanKnight's reviews pretty much put every worry at ease for me. Now, I just have to wait for this thing to freaking hit US shores. x.x
