Thanks! I will give it a try :)

Hi,

Yes, I cut the bottom cape with the figure placed on the stand & estimated the length needed. Try start a small portion & judge, then you may roll a portion to hold, and start cutting irregular battern.

As for the ironing, placed a piece of paper/tissue/cloth on top of the Cape to prevent overheat. Start with lower level heat. For safer pre-caution, wet the cloth & iron together with the cape.

After finish flattened the cape, you may see the cape 's two side ends were slightly thicker. I put the iron's heat level to the lowest (or you can turn off the power), and slightly sweep gently on the cape to get a little wrinkle looks..

I recommend to do this only when you are confident on yourself. Hope this can help..:wave

Not the knee bend. The C clamp around his waist. My MOS figure was damaged this way and it leaves similar imprints on the BVS version.

It does stretches and leaves like small folds around the suit, but hopefully it will be like the AMS2 Spidey. I left that on a C-clamp for months, but after I took it off, the suit shrunk back a bit over time, but still had some folds. I don't mind it, makes it looks like wrinkles, though I'm sure most would prefer a smooth skin tight suit.

Yeah I just don't think I want to risk it given the cost of these figures. I'm happy with a museum pose but it is cool being able to have Reeve's Superman and the Spiderman 3 figure up on flight stands with zero damage to their suits.

Changed up my pose tonight...

I hear a lot of speculation from others about possibly damaging this figures suit. Just out of curiosity what are ways you can legitimately damage this suit? Maybe it's just me but I feel like it's one of the toughest built figures (at least I own) to date.

I think we were referring to Superman in this case and its only if he's left on the C clamp for a prolonged period. I imagine Batman's suit could be damaged that way, though I don't have the figure yet, but there would be no reason to use a C clamp on him.

Oh I see maybe it pinches the suit? I wouldn't know I don't use the clamps. I use crotch grabbing stands.

Reposed my Bats, need to get some good pics of him.

Super eager to get this guy. He, Nightmare Bats, and Rey/BB8 are the only figures in my detolfs who will have dedicated cubes to themselves. 2 per rule with some exceptions otherwise.

Some shamelessly filtered photos of my current setup. Really blown away by the presence of these. Holding out for the solo Wonder Woman movie figure as I'm not crazy about her look in BVS (nor HT's almost unarticulated take on her).
