Sigh... there we go again.
Superman has never been portrayed as a victim, he is very much the forceful idealist he's always been.
The world he lives in does not share his idealism.
Superman is wary, see the difference?
you're entitled to your opinion and I am to mine. Synder portrays a perpetually sad and dour Superman. I liked MOS (for the most part. Plot holes and all) and liked BvS enough that I saw it twice (loved Batman, except where lack of insight into the cunning aspect of the character, i.e. Lois figures out Supes identity but the relentless Batman doesn't have an interest in that as he prepares to battle him?). but I think Synder's run on Superman should end.
