Has sideshow started shipping these? I have one flex payment left next month, but if they're already shipping i'll just pay it off now.

I got one from HK a few weeks ago but where the cape goes into the right shoulder was not fitted great. And I wanted to remedy it. I have another on the way the ex one.But my first one I took the cape of the first one. There is two stitches at the back like MOS. and the cape has two arrowhead like clips to hold it in the shoulder sockets. I have order some red rayon/viscose to make a capers it hangs well like my Lforignio DX12 cape

Dang Remy u too lol? Maybe im just losing my mind over the black outline in the emblem but its irking the **** outta me. Id still say for me it 99% perfect figure tho

Yeah. I've always thought HT MOS is one of hot toys best, and not only did hot toys improved it, but the improvements were significant.
The suit looks incredible. the sculpt looks great, and hell...like I mentioned, even the cape looks amazing. I have personally only liked one hot toys cape, and that is Thor 2 or AOU Thor which is basically almost the same. Everything else has been vastly improved by custom capes.
But this time, HT got the cape right.
This is definitely one of hot toy's finest.

For everyone that has recieved their superman is your cape like this? There seems to be some screwed up fabric on the corner and I can't hide it View attachment 272844

I suppose slightly, but no, not really. Even if it did bother me, it looks more just like a very small piece of excess fabric that can simply be tucked/pushed underneath the cape using a toothpick. Even then, it's more noticeable in a close up picture than it is to the naked eye.

Thanks for the info. At first it didn't bother me but as its sitting on the shelf it's looking pretty bad. I'll try to see if mine will tuck in. If not, time to contact sideshow.

So does anyone who has him think there could be a way to fix the flat shoulders? That's the only thing that bothers me with the fig. Cavill's traps are very pronounced and angled in the movie and the figure doesn't capture that at all.

Took a better image of how the cape on mine sits so you could see how it compares:

Something to consider though; I imagine that in order to fix that, SSC would have to send you an entirely new figure and you send the current one back (as opposed to just sending you a replacement sculpt, part, accessory, etc. and telling you to just destroy the defective part). If they send you a new figure, I don't imagine they would open shipper after shipper, just to find one that is absolutely perfect in every way; they'd simply grab another one and send it to you. So the caveat is, it's entirely possible that if you get a new one, it could potentially have another imperfection on it that turns out to be more of an eyesore to you than what you feel the one on your current figure is.

With my figures, I could probably go through each one and point out something on it that I think is an "imperfection". It's very rare that I've received a figure and I haven't found the most minute blemish on it. For instance, my MoS figure's cape has a small white and an even smaller black spot in two separate locations, the ring finger on the left hand of my Ultron Prime figure doesn't seem to want to articulate at the second joint on the finger, my AoU Cap has a very small black spot on one of the corners of the chest star that other ones don't have, as well as a few black marks on the belt buckle, the sculpt on the clean figure of my DX07 Bespin Luke has a small brown spot underneath the left eye that other sculpts on that figure don't appear to have, etc., etc. To be quite honest, I think it's rare that you're going to find one that is utterly perfect in every aspect, given the way they're made. Despite all the aforementioned blemishes, there's actually a lot non imperfections on all of those figures in other ways, that I've seen as being an imperfection on others.

I mentioned it before earlier, but the way I deal with it is this: If it's an otherwise perfect figure in many other aspects, I tell myself that the "blemish" or the "imperfection" that only I'm privy of is the way I'm able to denote that particular figure is mine and able to distinguish it as being the "good" one. :lol

Thank you for the picture. Mine is definetly a rip in the fabric. I can't tuck it in or hide it no matter what I do. On yours it's not bad at all. I can definetly live with that lol. Thanks for the info I appreciate it. This is one more close up pic. image.jpeg

Here's a pic of mine. You should try to get yours replaced. It looks like it wasn't sewn in properly.

You take some great pics, very sharp and detailed. I've seen them on the Facebook groups as well.

Thanks! It's really just being able to use the right camera lens and lighting. Some people go overblown on photoshop making the figure look like something it's not right out of the box. (Hiding joints or making the figure look like its wearing make-up lol)

Great pics, gj and jimminy! :clap

Personally, what would bother me a bit more than the slight tear, Edub, is it seems the cape on that same shoulder doesn't seat properly. It seems like it's a bit too far back from the collar, as opposed to coming up right to it. You shouldn't be able to still see too much of the material of the actual suit in that little box between where the collar line is and where the cape sits.
