Dude is massive lol, and the coat material looks suede like, not pleather.

I like him less seeing how tall he looks. He looks like a long streak of brown.

However, it is accurate to the performance artist, Dorian Kingi, who's said to be 6' 4½". (Cad is listed as 6' 1" on Wookieepedia).

Someone on etsy will make a bigger hat for him and sell 3D print copies of it. 100% will happen. Hell theres at least one 3D print of Todo out there now, saw it just the other day.

I'll be getting one of those for sure. Prefer the larger hat myself.

The Hot Toys hat almost look like soft material ?? Maybe it is ?

Fortunately his coat is not leather in the show so it was never going to be pleather.

Looks like the fabric will be very similar to the Solo Han Solo jacket.

Happy they didn't cheap out with this set, the anticipation was high for Bane and they delivered. He looks awesome, and the addition of TCW add on's like Todo and the rocket boosters is a nice touch. I'll order the deluxe with my coupon that came in last week.

Hopefully we get an in-person preview next month for SDCC.

Reagan from the video above will get some HD footage of the figure in Secret Base. So that's usually better than some guy at SDCC with an iPhone and a million people clammering around it.

I'm not that surprised. I believe a real hat forming process isn't that complicated. i.e felt like material pressed over a positive form with steam or heat to form the felt. Then it keeps it's position.

In any case, certainly glad it isn't plastic. That would have looked really cheap and toy like.

I honestly didn't think he was so tall. But OK it must be accurate.

Will definitely look cool on the shelf and stand out a bit. Finally another alien !
