I'm guessing you can do it once with that feature on the site and then after that you'd have to contact them. I changed a date of one of my figs up once and have lost the option to do so again on the site.

Thanks. The new flex pay is so fancy I love it! But I know I'll just abuse it :(

Re: Hot Toys Captain America:Civil War Captain America"Battling Version" Movie Promo

My side is consistency, I collect bd figures and yeah, I know this is a "battling" version and not a "battle damaged" version BUT

the description states "In addition to the helmeted and newly painted un-helmeted head sculpt of Steve Rogers, the collectible figure also features a new Captain America suit with battle weathering effects

YET the reg version helmet has battle worn features and a clean shield, the battling version has a clean helmet and battle damaged shield?

I guess when they say suit, they don't include the helmet as part of the suit.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

It seems they probably should make the helmet on the sculpt that comes with the BV a bit more scuffed up, while making the helmet on the sculpt with the interchangeable face pieces that comes on the regular version a bit cleaner, so to speak.

That pic is great. Here's hoping for some high resolution close up pics at some point in the future so we really gauge how "weathered" the suit will actually be. [emoji51]

On the bright side, for those of us getting the battle version of Captain America, in theory it should at least be cheaper buying the head sculpt and faceplate rather than buying the entirety of the regular version. [emoji848]

Yesss I agree :hi5: I don't see any point in having both since they are almost identical :lol

Wow. The weathering actually comes through really well imo. He looks dirty and grimy. I actually love the figure even more now, Lol. Imagine how good it will look with the gritted teeth faceplate and some blood. Oh the possibilities.

So true (about everything). I'm glad I was able to PO this and not at all upset about getting the regular version as well. I'm going to mix up the headsculpts like you said because the "gritted teeth" will just fit this one so much better.

As a side note, I absolutely love the weathering on this version. As a big fan of the weathering and battle damage done on IM figures, I just feel like it gives figures a more "worn and used" look!

Me too, I'm a big fan of figures that have weathering and battle damage, whether it's armor, suit, or blood. Definitely one of the main reasons I can't wait to get the Hulk Buster. One of the coolest figs imo is the HT Mechanic Tony Stark. Not only was the likeness to RDJ great, his battered face was top notch! Lol. And the one Luke from the DX 07, we got an injured face, severed wrist and hand, and a severed Vader/Luke Helmet! One of my favorites. [emoji106]

The suit looks pretty weathered actually in that last photo. Looks great. Even the Avengers "A" on his shoulder looks a bit faded and weathered.

My sentiments as well. And this is coming from a staunch Cap fan who has all the Cap figures thus far. :lol

Re: Hot Toys Captain America:Civil War Captain America"Battling Version" Movie Promo

I actually never liked the idea of a battle damaged Captain America shield. The shield is virtually indestructible, so to see signs of damage on it is weird to me. I know fans will say it's the paint job getting messed up, not the shield itself. But in the comics, his shield never get messed up no matter what. I think I will be sticking with the regular version. BD shield doesn't do anything for me.

Do you guys think there is a chance of a 1/4 scale version of this and the 46?

Re: Hot Toys Captain America:Civil War Captain America"Battling Version" Movie Promo

Vibranuim is indestructible , paint is not ...

I already know the argument bro. Just saying I don't like the concept of a Cap BD shield.

Re: Hot Toys Captain America:Civil War Captain America"Battling Version" Movie Promo

Makes me wonder if they will have "anti-metal" aka "antarctic vibranium" in the MCU... in the comics Panthers claws are made of it and that might explain it if the scratches are more than just paint scraped off.
