Re: Hot Toys Captain America:Civil War Captain America"Battling Version" Movie Promo

After much debate. As a huge Cap fan I hate to do this but I cancelled my order and getting my deposit back. Just too similar to my other ones so whoever is on waitlist and gets it congrats and good luck! I rather save the money for some of my trips this summer.

Aw, that sucks. But congrats on making a responsible, hard choice. I'm not sure I could do that myself. :lol

Me too actually. I got a lot of my buying under control and have cut down my collection almost by half. :hi5:

I know what you mean. I'm a lot more judicious and selective in what it is I get. And even then, if I get something new in the future, it may mean that something in the collection has to go.

Can't have 'em all. :lol

Exactly! You cannot catch them all. Pokémon got that wrong indeed. [emoji38]

Quick Question: Does Captain America ever bleed? I don't remember any shots of him bleeding. Maybe that's why this is considered a Battling Version as opposed to a Battle Damaged.

And I'm predicting this will become the "grail" of Captain America figures.

He was bleeding when he fought IM

He bled in civil war as well as the end of winter soldier when Buck shot him up and beat his face in. I agree about this figure I am regretting not PO'ing it.

Are you asking if he bleeds in CW, or in general?

Either way, the answer to both is: Yes.

Ah ok, good to know. I guess a more damaged looking figure is bound to happen eventually.

Well, I bet a CA figure with a bloodied head sculpt will eventually be released.

The Avenger logos on his shoulders for a start.

On another note, I find the best place to get caught up on accuracy is the Terminator threads. Man it's hard to please people there...
You're not wrong about the Terminator threads. How people can go on about a hair sculpt not being perfect is laughable.

As handy as the battle damage options are from the last couple figures, there are actually only about 2.5 seconds of screen time you can make them 98% accurate to, and boy don't they get fixated on that... :lol

Darth Vader threads are possibly even more obsessive...
