Wow. Red Skull looks full blast amazing. Only minor complaint is the lack of Nazi badges. Definitely all for this costume.

Funny, I was thinking that when I 1st see him, HT should nail it easy. I just so hope they make it.

The demand for the figure will grow at a geometric rate . . . factories will scramble to assemble more product. In a panic, they will try to pull the plug . . .

Wow...I cant believe you guys like what they've done with the red skull. His costume is terrible. It just looks silly..Why is it that when studios hear superhero movie everyone has to be clad in stupid leather from head to toe? They did the same with the Daredevil movie. Daredevil looked rubbish and they destroyed Bullseye the same way. There had better be a nazi uniform version of the red skull or I will be seriously pissed off Hopefully like the sideshow PF piece.

swantiago I agree to a point but a real Nazi overcoat would look pretty cheap on a big movie. I think that is why they do it, they dont want to look like they put no effort in. Look at the Fantastic four movies, now those costumes looked bad and they werent leather. Captain America isnt in leather, at least not his WWII one. The Thor pants and boots look much more out of place than this coat on Red Skull in my opinion.

Nazi uniforms are available for kitbash for very reasonable prices from Dragon and others online if you want to change the look. I personally think the Red Skull shown is completely awesome. I hope this is the Red Skull that Hot Toys gives us.

Everything looks great.
The only thing is the Hydra emblem on the shoulder and belt buckle. That can be changed.

I agree. Im not much of a Cap follower but more Nazi influence in the design would make the character stronger I think. He definitely looks like a bad guy, but he with the Nazi look, he could go so much further.

He might sport full on Nazi regalia during the course of the movie, this could be just one uniform.

Well have they said that the conflict in the movie is going to be against the Nazis? what if they go another route and its just a unnamed country they are fighting, if i'm not mistaking in Iron man they never really attached the group that held stark to a specific terror cell. Maybe I need to pay more attention to the trailer to see if I see nazi soldiers, I do tend to not pay attention to details sometimes. Even if they didn't go the Nazi route with Red Skull, I think he looks like as awesome interpretation of him.

That is a crazily complex leather overcoat the Skull is sporting in the EW pic.

Hot Toys will go nuts on recreating the costumes for this line!

Hope Cap can still be posed inside his paratroop combat suit...
