If it's being made we will see it in the summer for a late Q4 release. If we don't see it I think we can wave goodbye to him for good. I can't see this being released way into 2012.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was announced sometime around SDCC or after Tracker starts to ship. It would make sense to take advantage of the attention that Tracker will garner in order to promote their next predator figure.

Fatburn has already been confirmed for a 2029 release. :lecture

Fatburn DX would kick ass

The new DX eyes would be great!

I only hope NECA's success with their 19" pred and the high praise they're getting makes HT realize the error of their ways and reconsider the importance of accuracy in their Alien and Predator figures.
It's a damn shame two of the most (if not the most) iconic Sci-Fi monsters of all time have not gotten an adequate treatment from the premier 1/6 scale figures company.

Keeping with Hot Toys tradition, I think we can safely safe that Classic won't be as accurate as we are all hoping.

Maybe when Hot Toys tackles newer Preds in the future or revisits their older franchises we might get something more accurate.:D

Granted, but they've passed on other instant money grabs. Rorschach and Night Owl from Watchmen, just about any other variation of Arnold from T2, Ra's al Ghul from TDK, Drake (the TTA doesn't count) or Nomak from Blade, Sabertooth from XO: Wolverine, Blain or Dillon from Predator, etc. The list goes on and on. :huh

yea, you have some great characters on there. I'm sure we will see a DX BD Arnie for sure in the future though. We already know anything P1 related sells like hot cakes, so I would say if this Classic Pred looks better than their P1, it will easily top any of the characters you mentioned and will surely be another >1k HT piece.

I remember in an interview I saw online they said that They passed on Rorschach because it wouldn't sell or something, I remember also reading about this on a Watchmen forum,

Fact is, what might be a hot selling item for you guys might not be the same for the other side of the world, Asia, HT biggest market.

The reality on this part of the world is people just don't care about supporting characters like Ra's al Ghul, Blain, Dillion, Sabertooth, etc. Mostly they only want the main guys.

As for Watchmen, majority of people here don't even know WTH watchmen is. A lot of my friends who watched it just couldn't get it.
(not everyone understands english or even western culture very well here)
