Got mine Thursday. Very sharp figure with great attention to detail. Hope they put the DS Trooper up for PO soon so I can round out my DS Imperial line up along with Tarkin , Tie Pilot, and DS Gunner. Have Tamashi R2 and Zuckuss up next to finish the year.

That's sort of the impression I've gotten from behind the scenes photos. The flight suit is the one I remember from the movie as the canon scenes seem pretty quick.

Thanks, echo! It's a surprisingly solid figure. I don't have the TIE Pilot so it's different than all my other figures. Has sharp details and I dig the unique helmet. Been an expensive year with all the awesome figures coming out.

Awesome pics.:clap

What do you think of the "parachute material" on the jumpsuit some have mentioned?

I'm not sure parachute material is quite right to describe it but it's definitely more in that direction than the SS flight suits. I've only seen the SS Luke flight suit and while the tailoring is excellent on it, the material always felt a bit too thick. So this is actually closer to what I would have expected for the X-wing/TIE flight suits. In the end it still looks pretty similar, but thinner (more accurate seeming) yet maybe a bit more wrinkled or susceptible to wrinkling than Sideshow's material.

Liking this figure a bit more than I expected (bought it on a whim with an expiring $50 coupon). Really looking forward to the DS trooper now too.

I just watched the Death Star blow away Alderaan and realized that not only do these guys work the laser controls without their Vader sleeves, they also do so without gloves. Only bare hands!

This figure doesn't come with bare hands, does it?

So I guess the Vader sleeves and gloves are protective garments designed to be around the cannons. (I didn't check the cannon scene but I do see them in photos loading "boxes" -- laser batteries?).

Perhaps the guys in the movie were just scoffing at imperial safety regulations?

Crappy Pic but looks good in person!! IMG_3810.jpg

Is it just mine or do the hands on this thing come off way to easy!?!? I barely touch it and the hands fall off. I tried different pegs and the hands are just really loose. I can pose and they stay in place, but if I even attempt to move they will fall off.

Any concern with super gluing the peg into the hands once I come up with the final pose I like? I have extra pegs so if I want to use different hands I can still make the swap.

For everyone who removed the leather shirt, is there anything to keep the gauntlets close the hands in positions where gravity doesn't do the job?
