Well, at least Hot Toys an re-use the Din gloves and hand plates again. On top of most of the armor and helmet, I'm gonna assume. So this version will save them a nice buck or two

...and I'm sure they'll pass that savings on to us...lol. I'm even more in for this version of Fett after seeing that picture!

I have a love / hate relationship with these pictures. I get them on Instagram from HotToysCollectibles. So I immediately see the small notification and think could that be a Hot Toys release ?

Then I get the picture. Which is really nice and super cool. I love how they are doing this for each character. I just wish hot Toys would followup.

Well it is Mando Monday....whatever the hell that means......grrr

Boba kicked *ss. I felt sorry for the Stormtrooper he spitted, like Boba was setting a fence post.

Thing is though, the spiked end has those fins, so it would not have gone in far with the armour stopping it. I guess he was going for the "through armour" approach

IMO Rodriguez did great directing. Lots of nice touches like the ominous sound of the gaffi stick dragged over rocks.

Hope he returns as director in future episodes!

As Captain Trips suggested, Rodriguez is a likely candidate to direct the Boba Fett show himself. So a perfect fit imo.

I did think they were pretty bold filming in broad daylight in open country like that. Runs the risk of it looking like a fan film and cosplayers running around. But there were some beautiful drone shots from above with the troopers scrambling over the rocks.

Have we ever really seen that before in open wilderness ? Other than Endor, nothing comes to mind immediately.

If anyone is wondering where the brutality for Boba stems from. Watch one of Temuera Morrisons early films. "Once were Warriors" from 1994.

That bar scene is brutal !

Also why the All Blacks are truly intimidating in Rugby with no padding or helmets. That's real mans football.

Haven't seen that film in years. Very raw, and at times difficult to watch. Morrison was an animal in that role. Quite the contrast seeing him in interviews afterwards, he's a fine actor and seems like a good man. Just happens to have the face of a brutal killer when need be.

Yeah as convincing as their virtual backgrounds have been, it's still kind of a shock seeing the characters in a real world environment with the bright sun shining down. I'm not sure it was really the best choice myself, but maybe after another viewing I'll have adjusted to it better...

They have released a new character poster for each episode. Will be interesting to see who the poster characters are for the last two episodes.

Sorgon, kind've. I still like they re-created an entire village there, with consistent costumes re the weave and color and distinct look.

Tho it's not an exact comparison. Bet it was some tough filming for the camera operators. I need a Buddha Baby Yoda on the stone paperweight now.

It's funny you should say that about them filming outside in broad daylight. They were caught and the pictures leaked on Reddit months ago. Stormtroopers running up a hill and a guy with a cowboy hat directing (Rodriguez). People dismissed at the time as a fan film.

Yeah, there were more than a few shots where the episode looked like cosplayers at the park.
