Fett's costume looked a lot better this episode, now that he doesn't have the vest over the robes. I liked the return of the green jetpack. Still weird seeing him all clean though lol

Incredible.
It's a genuine mystery how a show which is already one of the best things Star Wars has put out so far can get better with every episode.
Fingers crossed for a Shoretrooper re-release, and a Tank trooper/delivery truck driver figure with Bill Burr headsculpt.

Gotta say I'm still having trouble adjusting to Fett's new look, I suppose because the original was just so perfect and iconic, but I did like it better in this episode at least. I still think he looks best with the helmet off though, since Morrison's scarred up face has so much character in it.

There are variants that were seen in Rogue One's production but not in the final film . In Rogue One we had Squad Leaders , Captains and Grunts .
In this episode we again have Grunts and a Captain..plus the costume dept seemed to have mixed things up a little.. we get a Squad leader but without his kama, that's replaced by hip armour and a variation on the belt too (different beltbox configuration)
But..there are no regular Squad leaders as far as I can see, so one of the pics above is incorrect ^^ .

Yes..but its not one we've seen before. No kama ..replaced with hip armour, ammo pouch and a different belt set up.
The captain also has a different beltbox set up to the one we saw in Rogue One.

Yes, they've been mixing it up, which is in line with the Remnant status of these troops.

yeah. Imagine they did a disguised Mando with a Pedro Pascal headsculpt.

Not going to happen I know, but perhaps it'll be one of those things where they release the helmeted figure and we could use a Season 3 Pedro headsculpt

I really think they are going in the direction that he will no longer be part of the sect given all that talk with Bill Burr and Bo Katan. Plus Pedro Pascal wants it like that anyway.

I've got to say the world building in this episode and the show in general is amazing. How many different planets have we been to now ?? And not just small sets, that whole scene through the jungle with the village and pirates was amazing to show so much more of the Star Wars worlds.

I guess we need to thank Faverau for pushing the Volume and both Favs and Filoni for having the scope to expand the Star Wars universe with big open shots like that.

On the Disney call they said they were building a bigger volume in the states and more in other locations. UK + Australia. So we can expect exactly the same level of effects and scale in all other Star Wars and Marvel Disney+ productions.

Very exciting times !!

The only thing Mandalorian lacks is 10 minutes per episode. They should not go below 40 minutes.

BTW, I hope they visit an icy planet some time, otherwise we won't see a snowtrooper reissue.

Yeah with his streak of no one seeing his face officially over and then hanging out with Bo Katan and Fett himself who keep removing their helmets I'd say it's a safe bet that he won't be so dogmatic about keeping his on all the time for much longer.

Did anyone else think this one was a bit of a homage to Rogue One? It certainly felt like it me, what with the Scarif-esque planet, infiltration of an enemy base, Shoretroopers, and Tank Troopers. Also, definitely had a bit of a Rebels feel to it. The Mayfeld/ISB officer scene was pure Inglorious Basterds.

Yeah even the concept art during the end credits showed one of those big RO transports sitting on the roof of the installation.
