We did get the Boba Fett legacy short that was pretty good. Some great footage of the Supertrooper test and the first public appearance of Fett. That was good enough for me.
So 20 minutes of stuff about Boba Fett that can be readily found elsewhere is good enough for promoting your catalogue of upcoming shows? I don’t think so. Josh on Den of Nerds summed it up perfectly, Disney+ is where Star Wars lives at the moment and yet they fail to utilise the channel’s biggest event of the year to promote their upcoming content. That’s just plain lazy.
Yet ALL these shows drop on Disney+. Today is Disney+ Day and Star Wars has multiple shows, with footage already shot, arriving on Disney+ in the next year or so.
Totally disappointed by Disney SW today. Even if they had done a similar thing to Marvel and put together a lot of stuff already out and tack on some new stuff at the end. It would have been something.
They still have D23 I guess. And may hold trailers of Andor and Kenobi back to May 4th next year ?? I hope not, but they do typically like to keep their marketing closer to the release dates. Andor is rumoured to be pushed back in 2022 with Kenobi coming first.
Don't justify their failure. Might as well not even shown anything really. Not even Book of Boba anything which is in a month and a half.
Come on she’s not a moron, she’s just busy with Patty Jenkins’ Rogue Squadron, Rian’s (definitely happening wink wink) trilogy, and the Benioff and Weiss project… oh, wait a minute…
