The flashback to Tusken Boba part was fine, the rest was total s***e I thought...really, really bad. The biker gang kids and the car chase.....jesus christ. Boba Fett has been reduced to a big girl's blouse now (thank christ I didn't order the Boba throne set) and Krrsantan a feared bounty hunter who can't kill a sleeping man and doesn't carry a weapon. I'm starting to doubt Kathleen Kennedy and the boys.

One should expect nothing from the Kennedy empire. We’re set for disappointment otherwise. The Mandalorian and RO are exceptions to the rule.

This was probably my least favorite episode so far, if only for that bad bike chase at the end. RR has been able to execute scenes like this in the past and make them exciting, but I guess the logistics got away from him. Or bad second unit, shrug.

The designs do not bother me too much. They give me an American Graffiti vibe. You could argue that this type of bike does not blend in with Tatooine, but that’s probably why the gang made them that way. To stand out. Or maybe they are trying to be “retro”, romanticizing Coruscant before the Empire.

Anyway, regarding figures? I would not be able to resist a Hot Toys Danny Trejo. Please, Howard?

This was a weak one for sure, Mando has had his share of bad episodes, but I don't think this bad.

Not sure what they were thinking design wise with the Spy Kids, between their clothing and mini-vespa's, they felt totally out of place on Mos Espa. I think its starting to show that RR should not be directing anymore episodes and should not be involved in any major story elements.

Were 3 episodes in of a 7 episode season and we still have no idea where were going this season towards.

I love Boba in Mando, they did such a great job with him there, here they aren't really doing much with him, he gets a few good scenes (the scenes with the Hutts) and few decent flashback scenes, but that is really it.

We got 4 episodes to go, but it isn't looking too great.

Also depends how much latitude directors have on the script and what things are like. Faverau would have had to have specified kids and not thugs. Bright coloured speeders ??

It is becoming clear and simple to me: This is too much Temuera and not enough Boba Fett. The helmet off thing has become ridiculous and distracting. Are they ruining the character for me? No. But they're certainly not doing anything to further enhance his legacy. Mando did that very well.

Yes that's a funny situation when you think about it.

With Mando everyone was asking why can't we see more of him without his helmet on !!

With Boba many are saying we don't want to see Temuera's face so much. Keep the helmet on !! haha

To me it's not that they were kids on a speeder that was the problem. It's how they look and I think Rodriguez has a big say in that. The 4 coloured speeder felt it was totally out of a kids show. I would still buy it if they were all red or 3 reds and a blue, but 1 of each of the UNO is too much, lol.

Yeah same with me, kids or thugs is not really a big deal, but the used and lived in universe is a pretty known fact. So to fly against that is asking for criticism. But perhaps that's what they were trying to go for ? i.e The generation after the Empire ?

But see, I dont want to wait for the last episode to see the good stuff.

This is the bunch that gave us Fett cracking skulls and disintegrating entire troopships. And in comparison, this seems rather pedestrian. In fact, very pedestrian. There are parts I enjoyed, but overall things are not moving nearly fast enough.

The proper response to the Pykes was not to go in there and have a chit-chat, one uses one's jet-pack rocket and destroys the entire damn building. With them IN IT. This sends the desired message of I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR BULL****. Now that would be a daimyo thing to do. Too much negotiation.

BK will be back. Trust.

WE DONT NEED A JAPANESE ANIME SPEEDER-BIKE GANG IN THIS. These biker designs are just terrible. This is perhaps my biggest complaint, this whole biker gang thing.

"They're going to war"?! No **** Sherlock. YOU better start fighting a war, stop pussyfooting around and do what you do best. And I have to say this about BOBA FETT of all people. Kill the Pykes. Kill the Mayor, kill his stupid Twi'lek lackey. This should be a no brainer.

Mando Chapter 4 was a stinker, but I’d take that any day of this episode. This was CW Martez Sisters/Bad Batch Scooby Doo mine car episode level of bad.

The one redeeming feature it could’ve had was Boba vs BK, and we ended up seeing him fight him in his undies. At least he put a bath robe on for the end of the fight. What a wasted opportunity.

As for the dweebs on the blinged up mobility scooters, please even Rian Johnson and JJ would’ve been embarrassed to include them.

So far I’d go with…

The next 4 episodes could be great but 2 out of 3 of the early episodes being weak and only 1 good episode is not what I was expecting from BoBF. Guess I bought into the hype. RR's "all killer and no filler" and "every episode having a surprise" talk had me believing.
Boba sure is a nicer guy than I'd have thought he'd be. Don't think he's cut out for this crime lord business.
If he wanted a career change, he could have opened a pizza place on Tattooine. Have his teenage gang deliver pizza on their little vespa's.
Seriously though, he sucks at this. Maybe he should lead an "honourable and respectful" mercenary band that only fights bad guys or something. This cuddly Boba could work for the New Republic.
