Yeah right now the only one I'd get is the GI as I could pair him with TCW Ahsoka. If the other inquisitors figures looked good I might be tempted...

I would buy GI and 5th brother but I want the 4th sister the most. I like her design, maybe because she does not have an animated look like the other 2 to compare to. I'm getting her black series for sure. If somehow HT make these, then I would get Reva for completion sake.

Would anyone buy any of the other 2 Inquisitors either though? Seems like most people hate the show and would only buy Vader and Kenobi.

The people that hate the show (or anything in general) are usually the loudest. Even though I don't love it, most of my family and friends do, but they don't follow SW as much as I do. These are the same groups of people that didn't care for TBoBF, my folks in particular disliked Boba until the Mando episodes and asked me why Mando and Boba were fighting in the middle of the street without any cover in the finale, but have been loving Kenobi.

I think we'll get GI and Reva, and maybe they'll look at sale numbers and go from there. I'd be in for GI. I don't care for Reva at all.

Two reasons I tuned into the Obi and tatooine. I didn't tune in for the annoying Leila character. A season 2 focused on Obi and not the annoying mary sue kid would interest me.

I think I'd consider tuning into a second season of Kenobi if he is more like the Kenobi we know (I don't mind him getting over trauma of ROTS and Order 66 and Anakin etc and being rusty, however, after 5 episodes, I'm ready for Kenobi to get his mojo back) and he doesn't leave Tattooine.
If it was a local adventure. Maybe have run ins with local criminals, gangs, Tuskens.
Training with Qui-Gon.
More scenes with Owen. More Luke etc etc.
And directed by someone else too of course. The person who directed season 1 is terrible.

I can get into a second season if we got more of a Denzel Washington - "The Equalizer" type of Obi-Wan, where he is helping some of the Tatooine locals that have problems with some seedy underbelly types and/or Imperial entanglements...

And of course, watching over young Luke.

Unfortunately they will most likely try to turn the Leila kid into Grogu. They will find a reason to have her in almost every episode. That means Obi will not be the focus in his own show. I need obi on tatooine. I need more tusken, Jawa, Jabba Palace, Sandcrawlers, sail barge etc so we get more dolls and hasbro vehicles.

Like with anything else, it takes time to build momentum, most shows don’t knock it out of the park in the first season. Personally, I’m enjoying the show. Last week was super entertaining, looking forward to the season finale.

Definitely interested in grabbing a Vader, Kenobi and GI figure from this series easily.

So what do we think of Ep6 ?

Hot Toys might need to have multiple robes for Obi Wan. Seems there were 2 costumes for the finale.

But I could be wrong. Need to re-watch.

Both outfits looked pretty good imo. Hope we get a 1/6 T-16 Skyhopper

Because he's so bare bones I wonder if we'd get him on an Eopie ??

I think there are 4 looks at least for the entire show. I really like the Part 4-6 Jedi look. I also like the Part 1 look because of the blue. Getting the Eopie for sure if they make it.

The different costumes don't seem to allow for swappable parts though

Hot Toys must be cursing Disney for all those costume changes.

But I really think they could give us 2 looks in one. Like Jyn Erso.

I really hope so. I rather they stay at 1-2 Obiwan figures with changeable looks and do some other characters like the Inquisitors instead of 3-4 Obiwans.

I definitely think I'll wait it out and see what they offer. I could totally see them release a single Obi-Wan, then later release a 2 pack Vader with Obi Wan in different outfit.

Totally normal Hot Toys move. Then the people who ordered the first Obi-Wan suddenly have to get 2 (if they're wanting Vader) which will be hard to pass up I think.

We'd need more source material for that series but i believe at least two of his outfits (2nd duel and leaving to dune sea) share a lot with his ROTS outfit. If i had to guess, i'd say Hot Toys would release an episode 1 wandering Jedi Obi-Wan followed by a 2nd duel version. Still, i'd rather have a AOTC/flashback version before any of those.

I think they will do one of the looks as an exclusive. Straight reuse of a headsculpt or make the eyes look the other way.
