Yeah highlander1. I took it to mean that it would be one release that encompasses both ESB and RotJ Vader and they said it would be released in 2012. Didn't they say it would preview before Christmas?

sideshow has told me personaly that a DARTH VADER is in the works for 2012 ,DONT know wich VERSION but missed the 1st vader and not missing again ...I ASK every time i call SIDESHOW about VADER if another will be released ...

How many of the figures debuted at SDCC and ani-com have actually gone up for order?

As i see it only Batman and Joker '89 and Iron Monger have, Cannibal Jack Throne and Luke Skywalker have not, and yet the Hall of Armour Iron Man stand has since been previewed and seems on track to go up for order first

I make it as nearly 4 months since its debut, and still nothing.

I have the old Vader, but am looking forward to seeing what they do with the new one. The removable helmet option would be cool.

Hot Toys had a poll on their facebook on what fans would like the next figure from them to be and it looked like Vader was winning, but I don't think that really has any bearing on anything.

You're right it doesnt, MGS won one of those a while back and still no news

I'm pretty happy they didn't. Whenever the base of the neck is covered I think they should go sculpted neck to hide any joint line.

except the base of the neck is not COMPELETELY covered, it is a little exposed in a few poses, and a separate neck would allow for better posing.

sculpted necks always look so unnatural in just about any pose other than simply looking left or right, compared to 2-part head and necks ....

Holy Frakk, two figures complete...The DX Bruce Lee with two figures complete was $219. I'm assuming then given this is LFL we can expect around a $249 pricepoint.

Very doubtful they will make one before Sideshow's next Vader.

I don't think there's been any indication from Hot Toys that they will ever make a Vader.

Well HT did say they are making more SW figures and so a Vader is a given but from what a lot of people are reporting is that HT won't compete with SSC so I would expect that we'll see an ESB or ROTJ Vader from Sideshow soon and that when HT gets around to it, it'll probably be a ANH version since SSC already did it.
