YAY!!!!!!!! I don't care how much, I just want this beast NOW.

And if you think it's going to be sub-300, you're nuts.

DX Nicholson is HOW much? Come on.

At first I wasnt to sure, then I liked Luke. So Im leaning of getting him.

But Im just worried with this being two whole figures, HT has double the chance of dropping the ball.

I'm planning on getting this, but I'm really going to have to debate whether its worth it or not if it retails over $300. Can't wait to see the promo pics though. Also, I'd much rather a Tatooine/ANH Luke to be my representation of Luke in my Hot Toys collection. This is certainly nice too though.

Anymore than $310 is a mistake. Do they want customers buying only one figure from the line because of the cost?

And Lucasfilm fees... PAH! :pfft: like they don't have enough money.

has this been confirmed to have two bodies, etc?

"This collectible figure actually contains two newly developed head sculpts with Parallel Eyeball Rolling System (PERS), two figure bodies, and two styles of specially made costume. The set also comes with a specially made light-up stand with Cloud City scene and a stand that can be hung on the wall. That is - one set comprises two DX figures and stands."

From HT Facebook page.

Two full figures including sculpts and two diorama backdrop/stands ...they can pretty easily price this at $320 I think.

LOL @ hot toys, and scale. it's not something they're good at either.

they are getting better, however.

You sure about sideshow vader being 7 and a half feet tall in scale?

Bah, still better than the 5'9 one medicom made :lol

Yes. Freakishly tall and better that medicom scale. SS Vader come 14 1/2 inches which is 7'3" in 1/6th scale. One foot = 2 inches. Six inches = 1 inch. Three inches = 1/2 inch.

Prowse is 6'2" or 6'3" but with the boots and helmet he's about 6'7" to 6'9". Proper 1/6 scale would be 13 1/4" to 13 1/2".

Everything else seems to be in scale. Helmet, armor, boots, etc. Just needs a body adjustment to be proper scale. Can't wait to display this next to my moded Vader.

SS Vader looks awesome with his size. A imposing figure as Vader should be. And SS's best IMHO.

Considering Luke is probably going to be on a standard truetype as well, he'll be taller than he should be, so it'll work out with sideshow vader :LOL

Hopefully this won't come in over $250. I have a feeling it will be $275 minimum. Two Lukes is too much for this guy. Only wanting a BD version, but looking for one might be too pricey; probably best to just buy a set and part out the ____ you don't want.

I always like to keep my figures complete, but there is just too much stuff that I have no intention of using with this release (that will likely be worth a pretty penny)...may be a first for me.
