humm,,,maybe it will be an ESB Han solo with the gas masks etc,and to make it a DX,,, add the carbonite slab with working lights etc...that would be superb

ESB Han is a good bet but it's unlikely on the carbonite. That would compete against a product SS is still soliciting on their site. They could do Hoth/Bespin gear.

That would be perfect if HT re-did Bespin Han and an upgraded Han in Carbonite. Would be a killer DX. Great idea, Jutty.

1:6 Han in carbonite is long gone, though, isn't it? Plus, that was a Jabba diorama type piece whereas the 'new' Han in carbonite could be positioned more as a Bespin version. Would be fantastic if they included a clear acrylic base to recreate the scene of Han being delivered to the Slave I.

Is acceptable a figure that dx, which appreciates the union head and body, two figures pack better to hide the defects, in general many unions are seen in the two bodies, very good, I will buy, this luke

I understand what Franc meant. I would prefer a muscle body of some sort for Luke too if I choose to pose him in tank top Degobah training mode.. but I am more than happy with what we are getting, the jacket should cover up the base of the neck just fine.

No, I did understand him... I think a Jack Sparrow like body, molded neck, with a neckless sculpt would have been perfect but it's not really needed since the collar will over up the joint as is. Not a deal breaker at all, IMO.

Yeah, i think the fact that he's not going to buy the best 1/6 SW figure ever because it don't have a neck like superman is retarded! But what do i know!

As delayed as this figure is, there is a good chance a lot of changes have been made to him. So a different body, altered sculpts, etc. are all distinct possibilities.

HT knows this is a big release, they will be careful not to half-ass it.

My collecting pretty much revolves around Star Wars now so I really hope you're right, GB.

If SS keeps rolling out the troops, droids and aliens while HT releases high quality main characters I'll be very happy.

Same here, I don't have much on pre-order; but 3 of the 5 figures are SW and there is not much else I'm really interested in at the moment.

I think the only figure that might shake me loose is if HT releases a badass Hulk figure.

I remember early on when the HT/Sideshow Star Wars collaboration announcement was first made that there was a lot of confusion about how many figures HT would tackle in a year. HT's statements were kinda vague and of course probably lost something in the translation. But it looks like it's proving to be one HT SW figure a year at this rate. It'll certainly make SDCC more exciting, waiting to see what HT's newest SW figure of the year will be!

Since I cancelled the Burton Batman pair I'm down to only 3 POs, all SW, and they're probably the same as yours (Luke, Boba Fett, Tusken Raider). It has allowed me to play catch up on some older SW releases that I've been wanting though. Just got the Salacious Crub Creature pack this week, for example. :D

Yeah, the Hulk is the only superhero I'd still like to have, but it will depend on the price.

As much as I want to believe you there will always be DX Indiana Jones to remind us failure is an option.

True, but I think Indy looked worse from day one and really nothing seemed to change. But this one is close IMO and I think SW will always get more love than Indy and hopefully the attention to detail will be higher.

Those are the 3 for me. I'm actually caught-up on 1/6 SW purchases so right now I'm just waiting. I have a few vintage items I'd like to pick up, but haven't found the right deal on anything.

The last figure I got in the mail was Gree and that was over a month ago :panic:

I'm really only looking to pick up Rebel Endor Troopers on the cheap now. They're pretty damn fun.

On another note, I just snagged this off eBay:

That should wrap up my other Tusken custom. :rock
