I wonder if this is going to be released at the same time over here that it is in HK. Maybe that's why we haven't seen and in hand pics yet.

The seller I preordered this from doesn't exist anymore according to his email address. I only sent him a small deposit (even though he wanted me to pay in full) but I've missed out on a few good deals as I already had it ordered with him or so i thought.

Probably. And even if this comes out just like the proto i will be more than satisfied as i never had a problem with it. I think both figures look fantastic.

I might just bite the bullet & whip out the CC for this figure before it's sold out, & I have to drown in my own tears - when the only ones available on line, exceed the U.S national debt ceiling in price.

I personally would rather be safe than sorry and pay for it up front instead of waiting for the possibility of saving 20$ and the other possibility of having to pay 50$+ for it someday.
An update from HT themselves would be nice. Their biggest licence and only one figure so far.
Anakin should be next, then Han and I'm hoping that the Ep 2 figure is either Mace or Obi-Wan.

SSC's got ESB/ROTJ Vader coming, so not sure we'll ever see an HT Vader or if we do, it'll be years from now. Really looking forward to their Solo figure, though, especially if it comes with a light-up Carbonite Han. Like you, I'd also love to see an HT Stormtrooper. That would definitely be a multiple buy.

Since HT are already co-branded on the SSC armored figs, would they bother doing their own troopers?
As for the human characters, believe it or not I wanna see more Luke love - particularly an Episode IV version with farmboy, X-wing and Rebel garb.

I think we'll most likely only see human likeness characters from HT with SSC continuing to do all the armor and alien characters.

Hmmm, good point about the co-branding on the armoured figs. A few people have expressed some unhappiness with Sideshow's original Stormtrooper due to inaccuracies with the armour, so I was thinking HT could rectify that and release the definitive Stormtrooper. Maybe I'm being too much of an HT fanboy, though.
Agreed on ANH Luke, too. Would love both that and an HT Old Ben. Both are great looks for those characters and would be must buys.
Yep, realistically, I think that will be the case as well. Was just thinking HT could up the detail on Stormie and I wouldn't mind it being on a TT, either.

Totally agree about a HT Stormie guys.
Not a fan of the SSC sculpt at all, I had the Sandie Corporal & got rid of it.
Every time I looked at it, I just kept noticing the faults.. it had to go.

I really don't think HT is going to go deep into this line, just the main characters that SS has already done. I wouldn't mind if SS released a new, more accurate Stormie though.
