As for not knowing what sideshow has in development, its irrelevent, howard said they would only make dx' s p. And theywould only be of characters sideshow has already made, or has no intention of doing any time soon. While this does not rule out chewie, it does rule out vader.

Unless they do a Episode III Anakin with Vader Suit two pack DX deal. I could see that. But with the SSC ESB/ROTJ Vader just around the corner I cant see them doing that with this Anakin. And thats if this Anakin is Episode III (which Im sure it is).

Not speculation. It came from a quote from howard chan in an interview about the line. The same interview where he said no more than 3 a year.

What Howard Chan says in an interview last year has very little to do with what actually happens. 5 years ago Sideshow said Grievous would be impossible (actually, he might still be impossible, but that's beside the point).

Howard Chan said Black Widow v2 would have sculpted hair because Yulii hates rooted hair.

Howard Chan also said they'd do Green Lantern.

I think one of the going rumors early on when HT announced they'd be doing an AOTC figure is that it might be Dooku. SSC has been teasing a Dooku in their line for some time and we haven't seen anything yet. HT could really do a Christopher Lee sculpt justice.

Could be it but in the last interview with SS (I believe it was done by guys at CoolToyReview) they said that they have a Dooku sculpt ready, just that they're working on getting the body right since he's tall. I don't see how hard it is to add some leg extenders honestly but that's Ss teasing again.

Here's an piece from the interview pertaining to Dooku and possible Qui-gon redo:

have you read that HT can't do anything SSC hasn't done? So nope. No Dooku.

If we go with what he said in the interview, my thoughts are Episode III Anakin with second head sculpt or battle damaged Jedi robes and full sith eyes. Maybe like Wesker with light up or glowing eyes but that might be overkill. Just a good angry sculpt with yellow red eyes would be fine. So we have our Anakin and Vader apprentice looks in one DX. Can't say I'd buy it cause it's just a bit too much Ani.

As far as Han, I hope it's Bespin with whatever else they throw in I'll be happy.

The AOTC figure should be one of two. Dooku or Jango. They are the two most iconic characters from EP 2 IMHO. They may do a Mace since they already have a Sam Jackson sculpt but that seems even more unlikely given that there are more popular characters. Personally I'd love to see a HT EP2 Yoda.
