as the picture implies...its a two headed party system...they are the SAME!
No, but you must be willfully blind to say there's no difference. The shape of the eyes, the hair, the jawline, etc., are all different. The clothing has gone from nice fabric to rough burlap. It's just kind of ridulous when there's 100 pages of peoplr going WTF? To these production photos. What's your explaination for everyone's reactions, then?
Nope, that's from the original gallery of 21 on the SS page.
Now where did that come from? Seems familiar, looks like the old prototype.
EDIT: nevermind ----- but that's the figure I would like to have.
Agreed there's lot o' crap to wade through. Someone posted some pretty decent side-by-sides. I'll see if I can find it.It's kinda hard to find the reasonable posts when everyone is just posting "WTF?" and silly conspiracy theories. I see more of a change in the battle damaged head than the regular. The regular seems spot on except for the eyes but I think that is just a trick from the bad photos.
I know people were arguing about the stitching but it was just as noticeable on the proto. As for the fabric, I need to look closer at that.
Skin or hair colour doesn't bother me at all, because sure, that could be explained by poor lighting/photoghapy. My concern is the sculpt and tailoring. These pictures need, at a minimum, some color correction. Does anyone really think his skin is meant to be yellow?
Clau on OSW said:Some claimed these were taken last year, but it's odd that they have just hit the Toysdaily and SSF forums the last few days. Pictures allegedly were taken from HT Tokyo store.
The guy who posted the Luke pics posted a disclaimer (per SSF) to say that he was asked by HT to mention that the actual figure on hand is better looking and asked the folks at SSF not to cancel their PO.
Another rumor is that Howard has just stepped in to halt the release of Luke and T800 due to obvious 'issues', and is fast tracking Batman TDKR to fill the gap. So take all this with a grain of salt. Guess we'll find out soon enough as most would have received Luke's payment request recently.
If these are in fact final product pics, then the Luke is particularly disappointing not just in the sculpting department but also in paint application. That's not to say Bruce looks fine either, he looks nothing like CB.
My personal belief is that no more PO drama for me from this point on.
