as the picture implies...its a two headed party system...they are the SAME!

No, but you must be willfully blind to say there's no difference. The shape of the eyes, the hair, the jawline, etc., are all different. The clothing has gone from nice fabric to rough burlap. It's just kind of ridulous when there's 100 pages of peoplr going WTF? To these production photos. What's your explaination for everyone's reactions, then?

It's kinda hard to find the reasonable posts when everyone is just posting "WTF?" and silly conspiracy theories. I see more of a change in the battle damaged head than the regular. The regular seems spot on except for the eyes but I think that is just a trick from the bad photos.

I know people were arguing about the stitching but it was just as noticeable on the proto. As for the fabric, I need to look closer at that.

Agreed there's lot o' crap to wade through. Someone posted some pretty decent side-by-sides. I'll see if I can find it.

those are the same pictures than before...
can someone go to the toysapiens store and take a new set of photos????

These pictures need, at a minimum, some color correction. Does anyone really think his skin is meant to be yellow?

I posted a color corrected version a little while back. While not bringing it up to the level of the prototype, it did make a big difference.

Skin or hair colour doesn't bother me at all, because sure, that could be explained by poor lighting/photoghapy. My concern is the sculpt and tailoring.

Those pics make Luke look like Uncle Frank from Hellraiser when he's wearing his brother Larry's skin.
Looks like the face just doesn't fit around the eyes.

That battle damaged headshot is just ridiculous. Why not a straight on shot over this "up the nose" shot? That photo makes all of the proportions look off. Why not pose him on the vane and take a pic?

EDIT:

As for tailoring, remember that the original proto looked pretty ridiculous the first time we saw it. It wasn't until the second show that they correctly fuzted his suit to look better.

Kind of funny how people pissed and moaned for years about wanting HT to make Star Wars and Indiana Jones figures and now that it's finally happening the pissing and moaning is even worse :lol

Be careful what you wish for :lecture

Weird story just posted on OSW.

Some claimed these were taken last year, but it's odd that they have just hit the Toysdaily and SSF forums the last few days. Pictures allegedly were taken from HT Tokyo store.

The guy who posted the Luke pics posted a disclaimer (per SSF) to say that he was asked by HT to mention that the actual figure on hand is better looking and asked the folks at SSF not to cancel their PO.

Another rumor is that Howard has just stepped in to halt the release of Luke and T800 due to obvious 'issues', and is fast tracking Batman TDKR to fill the gap. So take all this with a grain of salt. Guess we'll find out soon enough as most would have received Luke's payment request recently.

If these are in fact final product pics, then the Luke is particularly disappointing not just in the sculpting department but also in paint application. That's not to say Bruce looks fine either, he looks nothing like CB.

My personal belief is that no more PO drama for me from this point on.

Where is this post that says this is not a final production piece in this thread?

I'll wait till its in my hand to decide. I can't believe I had to wade through ten pages of "WTF" and "$300.00 for that" to find out nothing new.

I have DX Indy. I have UU Luke. I'll have DX Luke. I'm sure this will be epic in hand just like the others.

Now things are getting interesting.

His response on facebook

Vincent Nieto: Well sideshow freaks are just over grown men who haven't grown up that don't speak the truth

Vincent Nieto: Haha wow my video made grown adults take time out of their lives to make fun of me lol

So he pretty much destroyed his validity. Of course, he probably isn't the guy who took the pics to begin with.

Whatever the case, Vincent Nieto's name shall be synonomous with '***' from this day forward. "Nieto" means "loser" in Spanglish.
