Yeah, I'm seriously considering dropping the T-800. There's too much all at once!

What chaps my ass is when these pre-orders went up it was Luke in JUNE, T-800 in OCT, and Bats in DEC, then what do they do??? Delay Luke till Oct and then BUMP Bats up to OCT!? WTF...

I like that Hot Toys are releasing these (dx07, 11, 12, Bat Pod) before Christmas. That way I know I'll be having a VERY merry pre-christmas. LOL at people *****ing and moaning that all these are coming at the same time. Budget your money better. Many whine when things are delayed, sometimes justified, but when things are actually being released, cummon.

Here is where you try to unnecessarily (and very seriously... unless you have the sense of humor of something not very funny, which I will give you the benefit of the doubt there) attempt to over-analyze and define a toy:

Doll - a small replica of a person

toy - a copy that reproduces a person or thing in greatly reduced size

toy - an artifact designed to be played with

toy - a device regarded as providing amusement

collectable - things considered to be worth collecting (not necessarily valuable or antique)

This strikes me as ironic since toys are fun; hence the following reply:

What is your point? To anyone outside this board and community they are dolls toys or useless pieces of plastic. Some of them are as much as a car payment! Yes it's a hobby and yes we all love it but call it what it is. Don't try to justify it to yourself because your ashamed of telling people what you like. Embrace it proudly without fear!

I'm in no hurry. I've only been waiting for Luke since SDCC 2011.

I've been waiting for a government agency to empower whiny toy collectors since 2005 when I discovered there were people on the internet who whine about toys. It's the one thing I've always known would make my day.

The folk who call them "Just Toys' are just as shallow as the folk who make fun of the hobby to me.

I buy things because they remind me of my childhood, of growing up, of famous cinema characters I grew up with , because I love comic books and fantasy , have a vivid imagination and sense of wonder when I look at them. Because I'm proud to have a hobby that's different from getting smashed and buying a suped up Ford and doing burn outs in a car park.

"Just Toys" pfffftt, sounds like something my mother in law would say.
