I like that Hot Toys are releasing these (dx07, 11, 12, Bat Pod) before Christmas. That way I know I'll be having a VERY merry pre-christmas. LOL at people *****ing and moaning that all these are coming at the same time. Budget your money better. Many whine when things are delayed, sometimes justified, but when things are actually being released, cummon.

Umm...I have budgeted....For JUNE/OCT/DEC, with the normal expected delays. Whats ****ed is bumping Bats from Dec to Oct. That messes peoples budgets up. I have plenty reason to "whine" about it.

Yeah, it's a lot of cash at one time. Maybe they are trying to cash in on the christmas gift market as well? Getting everything out this time of year will surely sell them more figures. SS seem to be releasing a ****load also, the tuskens, the stap etc. Not a good time for the wallet or credit card.

They have since taken it down/out of the window display.

So, to me that kinda tells me that is was a **** up on their part to have displayed a customs model versus the final product. IF it was the final product, then whats the point in removing it?

I guess the way I look at it is, if it was the final product then the damage has already been done. "Stick to your convictions" "Stand by your product" type thing. But right now Im going to be optimistic and say it was a **** up on HK part by displaying an unfinished product.

We'll know soon. Just not soon enough.

Besides whether people think Sideshow have to say it's a great piece of not, they are being very co-operative about it all and are willing to credit back deposits etc.

Makes sense. But with all this noise about how bad the initial pics were, it's really going to be fire fighting for HT if indeed they ******d up Luke.

Sideshow want to sell more. Obviously they'll say that.

It makes no difference though if everyone starts returning it, in fact it creates more work and admin costs for them to then have to start processing returns and refunded money.

I am starting to sway more towards the "we're panicking for nothing" side.

While that's true, they aren't exactly going to turn round and say everyone's right. We've seen it in hand and it is terrible.
That would encourage people not to buy it. That's not a good business method. That's all I'm saying.

That does look like the newer material used, but they've gone a bit over kill on the damage!
