How is this figure still up for PO? Are they making 10K of him or something...

Im sure retailers have ordered a metric a$$ load.

AE has him still up and they normally drop them within a few months of release because of pre order totals. I'm sure everyone thinks this will be a bridge figure. People that don't collect Hot Toys will bite on this. Im sure they know there is a bigger market.

humm...i'm debating between getting Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight PF or the HT Luke DX, which one offers more bang for your bucks? i only need one of them to represent Star wars in my collection. What do you guys think?

HT Luke, mainly because I feel Bespin Luke is more iconic than ROTJ Luke. Plus you get two figures.

Starting to wonder if I'm the only one who will hang the weather vane from the ceiling like it was intended. No need to buy extra bases when it comes with the perfect environment.

Two figures though...I am actually going to use the Reactor Base with Vader on that with the vane upside down with BD Luke clutching it with his severed hand..Vader asking him to join him.

Yeah i was leaning more towards getting the the HT Luke, i also have the old SS Darth Vader to go along with it.I know SS is working on a new 1/6 Darth Vader which means HT will not make their version?

HT could make a Vader, but it would be a long ways away. I just think the HT Luke allows you to have to seperate SW displays almost, and just is more important to a collection than a statue.

I really like my PF Luke, but I have to go with the HT Luke if I had to choose between the two. You get two poseable figures of one of Luke's most iconic looks. Plus, there's just alot more 1"6 material to display HT Luke with, while the PF just is an island unto itself.

Good points, i'm gonna get one from SS. I'm happy the Ex is still up for preorder!

I've always thought the 1/6 figures are more bang for your buck as apposed to PF figures because put simply they are posable.

Got my battle droids on that base. :monkey3

Kick those cronies off there..I have a Stormy and Old Ben on mine..but its time to get the boot for something more epic. I know where you could display those battle droid though.........

Yea, for awhile there I was completely into PFs, but I always came back to 1:6 figures. Now I've only kept two PFs and have moved solely to 1:6 figures for the dynamic display options - alternate accessories, headsculpts, clothing options, etc make it much easier to get the most out of a collectible. Plus, aside from SSC there are so many other companies in the 1:6 game that there are even more options.
