Actually, I might be. If you could figure out a way to fudge the scale. . . I worry that a backpack to fit Yoda would be ridiculously oversized. But, if you have some ideas, I'd love to see and/or hear about it.

Yes. I'd be interested in seeing it and the scale.

Not to mention the unsightly joints on the shoulder, elbow and also the bottom neck area.

It's a neat idea, but I don't think it'll look decent without heavy modding.

very nice custom weathering job Rory ...:clap:clap:clap Would love more pics of your set up if got them please thank's......

:hi5:
Thanks man. Bogged down with work at the moment (a good thing), when I get a chance I will post some more pics.

Amazing job rory! I have to do the same on my luke now.
I'm still considering buy another set. One to full customize and another to keep clean.

Yeah, I was the same, now I'm not sure i would want a cleaner version of the BD Luke as well, but I normally like to keep a mint version in the box.

Looks so good.

Exceptional work there, Rory! :clap

Looks exactly like the real Luke... right down to that flapping left chest pocket I remember.

Did you just use a "dirty" wash in certain areas to get that blackened look?

:hi5:

@Wor-Gar, a mixture of greys and blacks. A complete wet down and tinting of suit in a watered down dip.

So do you just mix paints to colour requirements then create a wash and apply as needed?

It's a very simple process of drybrushing with diluted black acrylic and slowly building up the desired finish. You can also use pastel paints, charcoal, etc. but try experimenting on some scrap cloth first. There are many different techniques. It's not hard to do, but it's easy to go overboard and make the end results look unrealistic. There are loads of videos from experienced people on Youtube and various modeling sites.

You don't drybrush anything, Butters.
It really drives you insane, doesn't it?:lol

Guys do not try anything in those videos in 1/6th scale, completely inappropriate.
If you need any tips PM me, Butters.

I was speaking generally... You probably diluted black acrylic with water, but there are hundreds of different techniques... Charcoal would work best and can be reversed.

Getting things right can drive you mad sometimes... :gah::lol

Anyway, I thought you retired after being called out by eveyone for trolling. :lol

Yeah, Im definitely down for a tutorial Rory. I've just recently started modding my figures here and there these past few months so this could really help me out. You've done a great job with Luke there. :clap
