Maybe a little too nit-picky but I was watching Empire last night, and I've got some discrepancies with the weather-vane. First of all, it's not the proper height and secondly the lights are the wrong color save for one of the red blinkers. And it's missing some lights as well. Any body else notice or even care?

Yes, you are correct it is a little incorrect. For one thing it's not big enough but then again I think it would've had to be another 8-12" longer and I understand why hot toys didn't do that. Hot toys did the right thing whether they knew it or not by shrinking it down a bit giving more people more display options. It would have limited who could use it if it was true to scale. I have no problems with the product they gave us.

Ugh! Mine is finally out for delivery today. It was supposed to get here Nov 1 but has been sitting in the UPS warehouse due to the storm shutting us down. Maybe some of the excitement will replace the anxiety I've been feeling since the storm when it finally gets here. But I think I'll be happy with just a reasonably clean box now (assuming the figure's undamaged).

That is a nice setup, TR. Those SS figures minus the Emperor but with a Darth Maul are all all that remain of my SS SW 12". I think it'll be all HT from here on out for me.

Rory have you added further detailing to the wound on the face? It looks really good, like it's proper bruised.

Yeah Jme, I touched up the entire face and added a load of texture. The original scar was too clean and bright red for my liking.

Luke is in the House...hold on let me say that again. Luke is in the Detolf!!! Received this past Friday. Now I am one of those who did not wait 1.5 years for this to arrive. From day one it was a pass. It was only until “in hand” images started to arrive that had me reconsider. So I waited two weeks for this figure. Why I decided to pass on a HT Star Wars figure is beyond me. SW is the reason I collect. ESB was the first movie I saw in the theatres....

Anyway like many of you when this figure arrived the magnets on the head immediately came off. No biggie..a little Krazy glue and we are back. I really like this figure. I think it is great. You really get that 80’s vibe. One thing I don’t like when displaying 1/6th figures is exposed joints. I feel that they push the visuals down to “doll looking” even though I know they are. I feel that Lukes posibility is restricted when posing as his “wrist joints” are exposed far to often.

Anyway here are some pictures I took from my phone playing around with the camera functions.......
