same as with trying to put that bandage-thing over his arm? when I normally take off the hand, the balljoint remains in place in the arm. But that needs to come out too for this.

Use a hair dryer to heat up the arm. It'll soften and be much easier to pull off and plug in, and safer!

Whenever you need to pull off a HT joint, hair dryer!

Dang rory, you got mad skillz, but question, how come you decided to...lack of a better term, tear up ESB Luke to make a Rotj Luke? Although HT haven't announced Rotj Luke, but isn't it safe to assume they will release him at some point? And without a doubt, make more improvements to the sculpt? Granted this sculpt is stellar, but there are slight differences in hamils look between both movies and we know that will show whenever HT makes Rotj Luke.

Not judging you my man, just curious is all. I too can't wait to see the final product.

Just for fun. I have two DX sets and a load of extra parts, so why not?
I enjoy doing it. Just a hobby?
And I think both my kids will be teenagers before we see a ROTJ Luke from HT.

Hahah, I have a feeling ill have my first kid by the time HT TEASES Rotj Luke.

Yeah it's cool since its a hobby and you enjoy doing it. The most I can do is alter things, like batmans faceplates and such.

When's the EST for your Rotj Luke?

I only do it in my spare time. I have a pretty stressful job that takes me traveling for long periods at a time, so I don't know, I will see how it goes. I scrapped the modded hairpiece a couple of pages back because I didn't think it was coming out good enough, I will try sculpting one over the w.end (babies permitting).

I bought two of these sets cause I'm impatient and can't wait another 3 plus years for HT to announce they are coming back around to Jedi Luke. I'm making Hoth Luke, Jedi, and dagoba so when it's all done I'll have 5 total using these heads including, clean bespin, and battle damage.

Hey jim have same set up planned for luke and dagobah with backpacking yoda except sideshow yoda...Hey have you put the luke's coat back on ? just wanted to know if snaps are easy or cheap if wanted to switch to coat back on later...
