Wow I wish I can afford two of these sets, so many kit bashes I want to try

I saw some of the x-wing fighter bashes, how about somebody trying to bash the Hoth fighter pilot outfit using the bespin boots, I believe you can use the Hoth gloves to simulate that look.

I really liked the Hoth x wing outfit, although I just realized the Hoth X wing jumpsuit was more heavy and puffy than the ANH's x wing jumpsuit so it might be a bigger challenge.

My clean Luke had a stain on the pants, and I tried to get a replacement through Sideshow. As is usual nowadays, Sideshow refused to help me out, instead giving me the option for a full refund for the whole figure. Anyway, I thought the description of way the pants are made was pretty funny:

Please know all of the pieces we sell are individually hand crafted and because of this there will be small variations in the fabric on each piece. When human hands are finishing these figures there will be subtle variations you can find on every piece if you look close in enough, just as you would with any hand crafted work of art.

So there you have it. HT figures are so expensive because the clothing is hand sown apparently. Learn something new every day

Looking through the Hot Toys Luke manual and it shows a hilt and saber blade that come apart, yet I have nothing like that with mine? is there an extra blade in the foam somewhere?

SS replaced my clean jacket cuz it had a small stain on it. Sorry they didn't with yours. Though I was one of the first who maybe requested a replacement. They sent a clean jacket, clean belt since I was missing a button on a pouch and another clean head since I was missing a magnet.

Got my response from Sideshow about the box issue and I'm not happy.

If there is something from our website that you are thinking about ordering, let us know the item number and we will book the order for you and apply this credit to that purchase. Another option, instead of the Sideshow Collectibles credit, we can offer you a $25.00 refund directly back to the credit card on file used to pay for the item. So, obviously I'm not happy. If anyone has a box in great condition that they aren't partial to please let me know as that is now my only avenue of being 100% happy with the item.

I thought the same as you but it turns out that the blade that comes attached to the hilt does come out. You just have to give it a good yank to get it out. I know I know....that sounds bad but that's how I had to word it.

That is a dilemma. OTOH it looks like a good number of these are going to be parted out. Why not put up a feeler to buy a box with the $25? There's an auction on eBay now for a box and weathervane. It was relisted after not selling for $25. It's at $20 now.

Thinking of letting one of my lukes go ( along with the exclusive head) Which should I keep ? I actually thought of selling the whole thing as after just 2 weeks he's still in his box. ( I've looked at the figure but that's about it )
