Anakin's an interesting choice, but not one I'd consider to be anywhere as collectible as OT subjects. Luke in Bespin is still readily available, I have a suspicion that Anakin will be on the shelves a long long time.

i just got my Hot Toys Luke. Looks awesome. I'm trying to figure how you put the weather vane on the base? The very bottom of the weather vane doesn't fit into the plastic base. Am I suppose to do something inorder for it to fit in?

Thanks for the tip. I forced it in. For a while there ... I thought I had to sand down the metal part of the weather vane

Perhaps not even a SSC Vader 2.0 in 2013 to battle our HT Lukes...

Got one for as an early B-day present. This figure may make me go back into SW collecting (my wallet just screamed). I love this figure, the only problem I have with mine is that the lips are alot darker on the clean head than most pictures I've seen. I this a normal thing with HT paint apps? I want to try and purchase another loose head, but I dont want to get one with the same dark lips.

I just uploaded a custom composite, Bespin skyline (under Cloud City) image to the diorama thread as a background for the weather vane. It will print out to 15.5 x 31", taking up two shelves in a Detolf. If anyone is interested, the thread is here:

Whats the vane mounted with?

The vane comes with screws included, so you can pretty much screw it into any ceiling or flat surface. So you drill the holes based on the bracket, then connect the bracket with the screws. Then the rest of the vane just twists on. It's a pretty neat design by Hot Toys, and looks awesome!! By the way, it's all in the instruction book too!

Yeah! Instead of mounting the vane to a ceiling, I just mounted it to the top of the detolf. So I just drilled the hole marked out by the mounting bracket, and away she went

I have a question about the Detolf. Would Jabbas Throne, Solo in Carbonite, and the Archway fit on top of them. Obviously not all on one!

The throne might be to big but both other pieces would fit without any problem.
