Nope. Don't see the point just cause i have a new toy.

I sometimes do this upon unboxing, though I skip on the good parts just so I could be refreshed of key scenes from where I could base the figures' poses. But I don't have the time to watch the entire film again and again.

Hi.
I´m trying to do my luke rotj version.
I have the suit, but i want a gloved hand and boots.
Does anybody knows what hand and leather boots would be the best?.

Thanks for your help

I was lucky enough to piece together the BD version for $95 shipped (minus body - he's on an ancient HT body with Indy's extra hands.)

I really hadn't thought I could ever get this but it's the coolest thing ever. Had to put IG-88's stand to good use...

Looks great , now you just have to weather up the outfit. I pieced together my BD version for $150.00 with the body.

Also now have the clean version on the way from the HK Apestore , paid $150 shipped for him. Yes I probably should have just broke down and just ordered the set but I don't care about the box or weather vane on this one.

Just going to display t he BD version and put the Clean veersion in the SS box with it's acessories.

Just got mine from Gohastings- mint sealed in shipper...for $235. WHAT a GREAT figure(s)!

Got my Luke on tuesday. As usual, having a sixth scale figure to open up is a wonderful feeling. As with SS Boba Fett, I like to do pros and cons. If anyone's interested, here they are:

Pros:
1) Great likeness. I can really see Mark Hamill in this figure.
2) PERS
3) Ton of accessories and extras. The inclusion of a light up weather vane, two lightsabres (one ignited, one unignited), two blasters, a severed hand and two display bases adds to the value for money.
4) Two figures! In case it's not already obvious, you get two complete figures. That really is value for money.
5) Realistic body proportions.

Cons:
1) Quality control. This is a first for me when it comes to HT (or almost any other figure I've had). The magnets on the holster fell off. This was easily fixed with a dot of glue. The button on one of my Lukes' jacket tore off when I tried to unbutton it. The online store I got it from were kind enough to send a replacement. These aren't catastrophic problems, but do detract from what I expected to have been a top notch figure.
2) The body underneath is a bit "meh." Not terrible, the proportions are certainly realistic and the body isn't floppy. However don't expect to see a seamless, no joints body. Then again, Luke is clothed most of the time in ESB, so I can live with this.

One thing that bugs me is how small he is next to SS Vader. That has nothing to do with the quality of the figure. Just a point I wanted to make.

Would I buy this again, if I knew about the cons? Well, yeah, the whole set costs £240. When you account for the extras, then you're basically paying less than £100 for each figure. A HT figure that's wonderfully detailed, with a few issues.

SS Vader unmodded is HUGE! That's Sideshow's fault.

I know! Even after modding with a KP body and a new cape, my Vader looks quite big next to Luke. I searched for some pics from ESB and next to SS Boba Fett, you can see that he's now more screen accurate.

Luke exhibits Hot Toys' scale, which is a little bit more petite compared to SS. Vader's just that bit bigger in every way than most SS figures, so ends up looking big as hell next to Luke.

They made vader ridiculously too big/tall. IMO

Like the poster before me said - it's SS's figure, not HT's. Wait till HT releases there's.

The SS Vader is good if you can swap the body or mod the height and helmet. SS made him 14 1/2 inches tall that 7 feet 4 inches. Peter Mayhew(Chewbacca) is that tall not Vader. Prowse was only 6 feet 3 or 4 inches tall. Then add two inches for boot heels and maybe an inch up top for the helmet that puts him at 6 foot 7 inches. So he should only be at most 13 and 3/16 inches. That's more than and inch and a quarter SS missed the mark.

I can't afford to go after the clean version too - but the BD version just said ESB Luke more to me. I also didn't need the weathervane, but its a very cool accessory.

I'm envious of everyone who's had the experience of opening this HT box and seeing all those goodies. Looks like such a great overall set and presentation.

I'm really impressed with how much posability the boots provide. I thought they'd be more solid/rigid. Makes for some great action poses.

Just got mine last night. Utterly fantastic! This was the figure which would either end my hot toys collection or continue it. Reason being I was sick of QC problems. Only owned two figures 89 bats and joker, bats pers broke, defects on the nose, broken gauntlet, spent a fortune buying new head sculpts etc. Joker had to get a new head due to a poor paint application (sideshow supplied me a new head which was good) So my first experiance of hot toys figures was not great. However this figure has won me back. Its just fantastic! Mark Hamil looks bang on in the flesh. The sculpt is just stunning . Pictures dont give it justice. its so sharpe and detailied. Generaly in love with this figure. As per others the magnet in the hair came off, easy super glue fix, and one of the holster inner magnets is loose but no issue. Very happy with this figure!
