It's definately the biggest miss Hot Toys has had in a loong time. Maybe since V.1 Joker.

That neck is just so retarded, theres really no better way to describe the body choice. Straight up full retard.

Exaggerate much? Geez. Maybe it's because I'm a casual fan, but I don't think it looks bad at all. At all.

I don't think he's too far off honestly. The sculpt, jacket, and hat for me need to be fixed. If its not then at least for me it will be one of their biggest misses I've ever seen. Now, since this isn't the final sculpt I'm not gonna put the cart before the horse.

The real issue with the hat is how high it sits on the head, in that photo the brim's almost touching his ears, on the figure, not even close.

Well, maybe it's just a matter of sitting it a bit lower?

It should sit much, much lower at the back of his head... that's where the issue is.

I was taking the In HT I Trust route but when we get blog pics were getting close to product and now I'm scared. I already sold my custom and I'm starting to regret it I think.

In this photo it almost looks more like a traditional fedora, kind of like the ones Johnny Depp wore in Public Enemies. I think of Indy's brim as going behind his head, sort of like Vader's helmet dome.

I do like the PERS eyes in the first couple of pics, but oh my! The whip looks really cheap, the shoes need to lose those thick cream bands, the hat is still looking wrong and I'm not really impressed by any of the clothing apart from the shirt. The body at least is a simple swap and I could use it for something else, but seriously, WTF Hot Toys??? Just how much are they planning on charging for this thing?

Well for me this miles better than the Sideshow one, sorry that's the way I feel. If others hate it that's fine too, there is nothing I can do to sway other peoples opinion.

As for the Hat, it's one of three things I think need changing to make it better. There should not be a big gap between the ear and the brim.
The other things are that the eye colour it's too brown, and the shoes of course do look wrong and need fixing.
The body does not look too big, it's just near the pathetic Pro body that Indy came with,the Indy Medicom body that's even skinner, and the Spark Plug Toys McCoy

Fact is, there should be no debate here with a Hot Toys Indy -- we should all be marveling at this figure right now going "gawd, it's Ford!"...

But it's not. No matter how hard you want to see it. I don't. This is not a masterful representation of the character like T1 T-800 is.


And Dino: the Ford above looks nothing like the Ford in your sig.

And compared to the other figures, it's the only one that looks like a real person.
