Come on, some of you guys are making out like HT being Walmart and sucking up all the small mom and pop shops (ETB).
Fact is HT started from nothing doing military figure and occasionally sneaking in an unlicensed figure or two (Matrix Neo, George Lucas, King of Fighters) to what they are today. They fully deserve their success and reputation.
ETB on the other hand started with Bruce Lee!!! and with Arnie Kim on board no less(that time already well known all over the world for his BL sculpt). Imagine the advantage ETB has at that time.
Only difference is, HT has managed to improve, diversify, and expand. ETB in the other hand keep on making only BL figure and only recently, realized that too need to diversify to keep up with HT.
What happens are just some bad decisions made. Not HT taking out the competition. With that said, ETB did the same thing with Godfather. HT announced theirs first, and then ETB came along claiming superior sculpt and accessories. What ETB probably didn't expect was HT upping them on the challenge.
