Looks like all you have to do is mod the neck but it looks ike it works.

Posted this in the Mark VI thread, but haven't got an answer yet, so I decided to post here as well.

Has anybody ever combined orders from Sideshow before?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but do combining orders actually save money on shipping? Mark VI and Bruce are coming soon. Since shipping is based on weight / dimensional weight, wouldn't combining shipping on two items be the same as having them shipped seperately?

EDIT: Received one response on the Mark VI thread, but no definitive answer yet.

Never hurts to call SSC's CS and ask. I've ordered things separately before and they were shipped together and never received a shipping refund for the difference, so who knows.

Some of us hate calling because of communication issues through the phone... when you say you couldn't hear them, they treat you like you're an idiot. I hate phone calls.

I don't like having to pay a 10% deposit fee, that's why I'm slowing moving away from Urban Collector too.

Compare this (UC):

"If an item is defective (including broken parts contained within undamaged packaging), please contact us via email within 24 hours of receipt of the item. Defective items are the responsibility of the Manfacturer. We will provide you with information in regards to contacting the appropriate manufacturer for replacement of your defective item."

..with this (BBTS):

"Defective items: If you receive an item that has a manufacturer's defect we are happy to ship a replacement. Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. BBTs will cover all shipping fees to and from our warehouse on defective items. Defective items may only be exchanged for the same item."

In fact UC's whole policy page has a rather tetchy tone to it when compared with just about everyone else. With so many fantastic sellers out there, UC would do well to bring themselves up to scratch with their customer care.

almost all the dealers are charging 10 percent as of late even sideshow is doing it. it sucks but their protecting their selves from guys backing out on them, that's what they tell you when you ask them. i guess this is the price we have to pay i guess.
