Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I would of saved your money, it bears no resemblance to Bruce Lee what so ever.

No, I just know a good figure when I see it, and that is not one of them.

I just think they should of waited and left the sculpting to Arnie before doing the ETD DX. Look at that DX sculpt in comparison to the latest Bruce Lee Casual sculpted by Arnie, the DX could of been so much better.

Raymond, your right about the body, they sure did sort that out but as far as the likeness goes it's no classic. The forthcoming Jack DX is a different matter all together. Now that is a great likeness.

(Banning order) obviously you don't believe in freedom of speech. Just being honest and expressing my views dude.

Could be with your absolutely asinine posts, that they just don't like you. Gotta say, I agree with them. :dunno

Cool, thanks dude. Did you soak it in vinegar first? I'm just a little worried about it staining the body and ruining it.

After Lejuan's incident, I took mine off of Bruce for a bath. While it's not marking the body, I'm giving it a bath anyway, just in case.

I purchased one on ebay also. What is the method you guys are using? Just soaking it in vinegar and then let it dry out before letting Lee wear it?

Hashmonk, you are entitled to your opinion. It's just a bit odd for someone to join up and the first thing they do is start bashing what is, on this forum, a near universally loved figure. Maybe better to start off posting in a less disagreeable way, if you don't want to experience a backlash. Just a suggestion :peace

Hand wash in cold water using a mild soap, rinse, then let it soak in a bowl of cold water with white vinegar (I'm letting mine sit overnight). Then rinse again with cold water to get rid of the vinegar smell. You can test the sleeves on a crayola marker to see if they're still marking. If they are, wash, rinse, repeat.

New member with 5 of the 6 posts exclusively targeting HT's Lee figure. I think the motive has already been established. :huh

There's no need to be so sensitive, I was only expressing my opinion. You love the figure, I don't. I'm sure there are others figures we do agree on

I'd suggest you buy thicker glasses if you think this looks "nothing" like Bruce Lee.

This appears to be the logic: you don't agree with us, therefore you must be stupid (or disliked, mentally challenged, etc.).

The person made his/her opinion known. Because many disagree does not invalidate the opinion. Agree to disagree and just move on.

Your avatar looks NOTHING like Gene Simmons' Demon.

It's an actual photo rather than an artist's rendition so your example isn't exactly accurate.

Who cares,it wasn't like he insulted anyone. Now let's share some more pics, too little of it!

If it was my opinion, based on your post, why would it matter enough for you to call said opinion inaccurate?

No, mock mercilessly and move on.

p.s. your brownies are almost done, mom.

:lol:rotfl:lol:rotfl:lol Gotta move the wannabe modnewbs who just pop in for a spritz. :monkey1

I think the ideal way is this.
Anyone can make a claim thats against popular beleives, but it doesnt make that person a troll.:wink1:

You shouldnt take their statement as an insult and proclaim him a troll.

If you can logically elaborate on the topic with him and learn something new for yourselve, than do it.:exactly:
If you just feel insulted and know in advance it is a dead end discussion, than just move on and dont reply and call him a troll.:exactly:

I, for one, don't like when people are called trolls.:thud:

Yeah, let's mock. I'm sure there's a gold mine of material here at a geek doll forum. Who shall we start with? How about guys who by their post counts haven't left their house since 2006?
