This is shaping up to be a big HT BL week with a 2nd DX due to arrive as well as an additional 3 DX BD bodies, a GOD suit, a FOF suit, a Kato suit and 3 or 4 DX stands!

DX04 Bruce Lee PERS slightly off

I just got my DX04 Bruce Lee figure, and I have too say, it's the most life like 1/6 figure I've ever seen! Simply breath taking!

Anyway, on the slashed face sculpt, his left eye is just a bit lower than his right. You can't even tell unless you look real close.

Is there anything that can be done about this or am I royally screwed?

I haven't heard this complaint yet, but if you "can't even tell" then I'd just try and mess around with the PERS a little more to see if you can find an angle of both eyes you're happy with. Otherwise, you can try to request a new sculpt from wherever you ordered it from.

You can really only tell if he's looking straight, but for $200, I want perfection. I got it from Big Bad Toy Store. I'll send them an e-mail. How are they with fixing this type of stuff?

I've never had a QC issue with any of my orders from BBTS but they do have an excellent reputation. Shouldn't be a problem if you have a photo of the issue for them I would imagine.

Do you notice this when you have the eyes looking to the side?

BBTS are EXCELLENT when dealing with damaged or defective products, They generally replace your figure with a new one but I think they dont have any in stock and may have to look find one from their distributor. But be sure to take some high res CLEAR PICTURES of your problem and mail them along with your complaint to their customer service...

Hey, you have the custom GOD tracksuit. Can you show us a picture of the tracksuit midwaist down like the Enterbay version? I was thinking of making a custom with the smiling HS.

There ARE issues with the PERS on the battle damaged head. I have 3 of them, one of them is slightly cross eyed. I brought this up a few weeks back but was immediately dismissed by our resident "know it all".. Nam. Who fell into his standard "newb" BS. The BD sculpt itself can make the PERS appear uneven when posed in certain ways.

There was also a quality control issue with some of the mirror backing on the stands. The overlay/protector was actually stuck to the mirrors. Still, this is pretty much the most amazing 1/6 set ever released IMO.

I'm getting mine replaced by my ebay seller. You should try the same if you are unhappy with it.

Mine has the same problem. As Rory said, it's the sculpt, from what I can gather. It doesn't bother me enough to go through the process of returning it, and the likelihood of the replacement having the same problem.
