Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Hi,

I was wondering, could somebody, preferably with pics, show me how to tie the ankle wraps on the ETD pants? I've seen them undone and done up, but can't fathom the bit in-between.

Anyone!?

CHEERS!

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

LOL! I should have gone back a page! I bought the pants loose and can see that I'm going to have a heap of fun getting them onto the figure.

I had similar problems with my EB FOF, in that case I resorted to Scotch tape!

CHEERS!

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

And may an orderly queue follow!

I'd still like to know how you tie those pants, anyone!?

CHEERS!

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Pretty much the same way you tie the FoF pants, only difference is you gotta tie up the straps in the end bit... wind the straps all along the shin length... I dunno whether you can understand though

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I kind of get it. I'm sensing another Scotch tape job may be necessary. I hate it when things are fiddly!

CHEERS!

Based on ebay prices this is about right. You may have found it cheaper on the commerce section of this board, and most figures are typically cheaper from US sellers - but many of them won't ship internationally. So I'd be happy about that buy at this point. The MIS body is the same as the DX body, so outfits are compatible. But the MIS body doesn't come with feet, you'll need to pick up a parted out pair.

Edit: holy smoke, just checked out what parted out DX feet are going for :horror

Not half bad!

I got the suit one for £75 shipped. The DX body without the scars is identical to the suit ones and the head will definitely fit. I'm putting the DX head on the suit body and will eventually dress it in ETD gear.

I am also getting another body and DX head out of which I'll make a BD GOD figure.

CHEERS!

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I've actually done the reverse & used the DX body to bash a casual BL. The HT smiley ball joint is a bit larger than the DX, but I was able to squeeze it in there :D

The casual shirt covers the BD on the DX, so it basically looks like I have the casual BL figure (except I don't have the watch) :D

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

i think its good considering the cheapest i could find before this one was 200 shipped, 143 plus 30 shipping is decent cheers guys

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Someone pointed out much earlier on this thread that you can just buy the standard Hot Toys feet....which I did for a few dollars.

Bruce Lee didn't do one single movie scene in bare feet so why bother paying a lot for the DX Lee feet if you don't have to?

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

The thing with the DX feet is that they are flatter and more planted. The balls and heels on TT Feet are very rounded and wouldn't allow for the poses Bruce demands. You certainly couldn't stand him on one leg with standard feet. Also the DX slippers are flat soled so standard feet would be an awkward fit and lead to more instability.

They might be pricey, but, DX feet are worth it

I guess so...I'd never leave any 1/6 figure without its stand though.

I don't know what you're talking about GungFu :slap:rotfl
I said use regular HT feet inside the shoes, not leave him feetless...
