Hot Toys DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Awesome pic u had there. Recently the price of dx04 is declining, is it due to what you guys say that it doesn't look like Bruce? So many people is letting go their dx04.

if your a bruce lee fan/collector then yes buy one.i bought mine in bits here and there as i was'nt overly keen on the sculpts (JUST ME GUYS) but it is better in hand i also thought the backgrounds/diorama were not as good as EB's..AGAIN JUST MY OPINION.as a collector of many years of bruce i bought both the DX and BTS GOD in bits here and there CHEAP.as i wanted them to go with my collection and could'nt afford the sets.

People are probably letting go of their DX for different reasons.

I still want to pick one up, it's a great package. I mean when I first saw this it was amazing. Then as time progressed and I looked at so many various collections of stuff here, I figured I want something that looks more life like to the real thing. Honestly, you guys can look at all the BL sets and say they look like Bruce Lee from HT to EB, but they're not identical. So you know there are nuances separating them. That's what I'm trying to get at here.

If you look at Bruce Lee and look at all his different expressions, we know it's him. These sculpts don't all capture it properly sometimes and that's pretty much the thing I'm getting at here. I personally feel this one almost captures the ETD but something's just off for me personally.

No mass produced BL figure has captured BL, the way some other celebs have been captured. I think that is what BL fans are waiting for. To me, it could have been HT's smiley, if it was based on WotD, or EB's Game figure, if they didn't use any eye movement system.

Oh that's pretty awesome. How they mod the ht smiley sculpt? With a modded hair, it really look better with It

Wait what? how did they add hair? Isn't it hard sculpted? At least my business suit one is.

They probably ground down the original hair some, dremelled out some material from the EB hair and popped it on. The hairline on the EB hair covers the HT hairline, so it'd be easy enough to do given the spare parts or the kahoonas.

Yeah I remember somebody selling that on Ebay before (mytoys_box?), still doesn't quite do it for me. Hair needs to be shorter & I don't know if other peeps see it, but in hand, the HT smiley seems to have a bit too much "eye liner" painted on. I don't remember peeps mentioning that, but it's something that I notice. I want it more like this:

Maybe somebody with skill could do a slight repaint on the HT smiley, & mold a more accurate WotD hairpiece. I'd like to see that.

Correct Larry. That is from mytoys_box. I have seen it personally not bad at all. I dun knw if he will use that to do WOTD smiley HT.

yes lejuan is a super easy mod to do...the price for that head it was outrageous on evilbay...

That head on a way of the dragon figure would be a major grail for me. Same goes for the BD GOD V3 prototype.

Missed chances, no doubt. Well there's BB & FoF figures coming, so that's another chance for EB to get it better

I want a v2 FOF, Arnie Kim or not, I think YJ and EB could do so much better than their first attempt. Judging from what I see so far with their Scarface, Leon headsculpts. Not worried about the outfit, as their previous attempt was fine.
