Bruce's hands are a pretty expressive part of his entire persona, so rendering these as rubber would do the whole figure a huge disservice. Articulated fingers would just be a mess. I would bet my last dollar on separate hands, rubber body or not.

Oh yeah, Christopher Reeves Superman. Don't really care about it. I want a Superman figure, but not one based on an actor and the DC 13 figures won't do.

Thats exactly how I feel. Would love a Superman, but not really hyped about it being based off of an actor. Hopes more time gets put into the Bruce figure!

I think the DX-04 Bruce will be better than we expect. I just wish they gave us updates on it.

And yeah, I want a Batman, Lobo, Superman, Wolverine, and Joker figures based on comics. Except for Lobo, they all have 1/6 scale figures, but they suck. Medicom did a Wolverine, but it looks bad. The DC 13 figures are too big, the cut in the biceps and thighs ruin the figures display ability and the headsculpts are not that great on most of the figures. A few look good, but not good enough for me.

I don't know if you'll have any joy with that wish, at least not from Hot Toys. Their range is predominantly centred around film, so putting out a Superman that wasn't based on an actor wouldn't make sense.

Superman the movie holds a lot of sentimental/nostalgia value for me - as do the Bruce Lee movies - so whatever happens I'm going to be a happy happy collector in the next couple of months.

Why are hot toys making Bruce Lee figures? Enterbays look so much better I don't mean to bash this figure but the ripple lines in the body look way too pronounced which doesnt look right, the head sculpt is good but seriously EB do Bruce so much better. Hot Toys should do something original like do a figure of Brandon Lee from one of his films, now thats a figure I wouldn't hesitate to get.

or Hot Toys should do characters from the SHAW Brothers movies like the Five Deadly Venom, Kid with the Golden Arm or Chinse Super Ninjas.

Why are hot toys making Bruce Lee figures? If your talking about the Crow, that wont happen for a while as the image holders of the Crow dont want to release a Brandon version due to the new Crow movie............... when ever that happens!!

They could certainly expand to comic versions, just like they have with the videogames from Resident Evil and Assassins Creed. The only one I would buy would be a Hulk, since it wouldn't look like anyone, just not a Ferrigno.

But the thing is I am not expecting a specific company to do it. I am really more incline towards DC 13 to improve the figures. If not then I guess I'll never have one.

I'm sure this figure will end up looking better than what we've seen already. Hot Toys is known for reworking and improving sculpts and design on figures up until release.

May have to get this set just for this display. Sell off the stand and BD sculpt/accs.

That's a great Bruce Lee likeness.


Can't get over how massive the stand/display actually is though!!! Will dwarf an entire shelf in a DETOLF.
