Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

If its a slim under the rubber, it will be the same size as an Enterbay Bruce. I have an Obama head on a slim body with President Palmers suit and it fits him perfectly. I have Kato right next to him and they look the same size; Kato just a bit taller because of the hat.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

does anybody know if we will be getting this guy before the end of the year?

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I bet he ships before year end.

That would be awesome, it'd give me tide me over 'til CR Superman :) I prefer to get my figures over a period of time rather than in one batch. I don't know which one I'm excited about more. I love this hobby, every figure I order is like Christmas all over again (though I have to say most of my Christmases were pretty lame, maybe I'm making up for lost time).

I can't wait to see the final head sculpt. This figure has taken a lot of heat over the sculpting (head and body), but I was never convinced that HT would let a DX figure fall short.

Us here over seas will have to wait longer. :gah:

I'll be out of display space by the time he arrives... time for a fourth detolf??

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Not true. The Slim Truetype is quite a bit smaller than a standard truetype. Even normal TT pants are too big on it.

Which worries me as I was hoping to come out buying another body and having two figs to display :gah:

i hope he ships next year it will kill me if this guy ships this year.

I think it will be after or around February.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Hopefully they will show the improvements on the heads before release. The body was a great improvent and if that ends up being the final product, I would not mind at all. Now, the facesculpt is a whole different story.

Really ? That is surprising. I didn't think it was too bad. Especially considering what EB pieces go for and what you get with the piece as a whole.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I found it very funny that Hot Toys published an Chinese superstar as their DX04. After ten years of Hollywood "slavery" they've came to a high self regard.
But I'm also looking forward for the new superman, an American Idol, isn't he?

They've done quite a few Asian icon characters, and not just the recent Japan exclusive one. Have to agree that they have a lot more US-based icons. I hope the Comics Line bring in some fresh ones. Or I hope they revive their Anime Line.

Is Hot Toys starting a Comics line? If so, there is still hope for me having a good 1/6 comic based Batman!

Their first figure is the Japan-exclusive Friend figure from the 20th Century Boys Manga. I'm hoping it doesn't stay with mangas or the line to be a one-off (like what happened to their anime line). I'm with you on a 1:6th Batman based on the comics :) the DCD figures aren't good enough for me due to their larger scale.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Not only the height, but the joints in the body. The costumes look good and had thought of doing a custom figure using a trutype, but from what i have seen, they are too big to be put in any body.

But yeah, the comic figures i would like are:

any black masked Batman, Hulk, Spiderman 2099, Wolverine, and Lobo. After that, I would quit collecting.
