Yeah... there is no reason to buy a non EX right now... especially if you're planning on getting a second Bruce body... it would cost way more to buy it separately.

Do yourself a favor... put yourself on the waitlist and hope some poor sod cancels theirs.

Do you guys think that the entire hair will be removable or it will be more like the joker, to access the PERS? I notice the new Indy seems to have tge entire hair removable. Its hard to tell from the pics, but it seems to be that way.

Also, since it is a rubber torse under a TT, will it have some type of articulation there? I only have the T800 and he has that ab cut. It would be nice to have some degrees of motion there.

Don't be surprised if that extra muscular body goes for over $100.

I think it'll be fetching that price upon release. Especially for the clean one.

DX04 is going to go for $400-$500 easy in a year much like DX01 and DX02..

:lecture:lecture:lecture Easily.

I'm sure HT will just make the entire hairpiece removable. It's how Enterbay did it and it makes the most sense given Bruce's hair style in the film.

I doubt it, though it's not impossible. The Leonidas figure had a midsection that could be bent forward even though the entire torso was rubber.

If it came down to having articulation around the waist via a separated torso and mid-section, or having a rigid torso, I'd take the rigid torso. Medicom's Bruce can only be posed fully clothed thanks to its split-torso.

Ok, that's what I was wondering. I too think the entire hair would be removed. Though I would have preferred for them to give each eye individual motion, like Enterbay.

I hope the torse is not completely stiff. I do preferr the more aesthetically pleasing figure for Bruce, but that was just one thing I thought about while analyzing the fig. It has a base body and rubber over it. Though probably not recommended, he might be able to bend some.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

You think the elbows can be bent further than 90 degrees? The Pics ive seen so far it doesn't seem like they do,and the latest pics we saw of it on display the fighting pose did look kinda weird.

Their latest Muscle Bodies doesn't go further either but i figure with a Bruce Lee figure it really needs good articulation for cool poses.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I would like to have the non-BD body, but it takes SS to freakin' long to ship. I mean if this figure hits later this month/early March, SS probably want ship until June-July. Right?

Ill probably just be happy with getting the set without the clean body. Ill more than likely display with white shirt or stealth suit on anyways.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

SS ships generally a month after a figure hits China.

It looks like the arms are sculpted, like the Terminator. But I think it will have better range of motion than the Enterbay BL series. One thing I did not like about the BL bodies was that the hands had to be attached mid-forearm, I felt it limited the figure somewhat. Displayed with a shirt, it would not matter much, but without one it did not look natural as it does not blend properly. Reminds me of the ugly 1/6 DC Direct cut joints for biceps and thighs.

But If it bends to at lest 90 degrees, I will be happy with that. The legs though, will have full range. Either way, the range will be the best yet for a Bruce figure, as I doubt the new Enterbay one will achieve more range without collateral damage.

In other words, we still don't know the amount of range in the Enterbay GoD, but even if it has better range, collectors will have to be careful and decide for how long and how to pose him. With the Hot Toys one, you can take advantage of the full range, indefinately.

Patience Gwasshoppa! If the wait is getting too hard to take then you could try doing what a lot of edgy collectors do - call in a subbie.

*translation: a subbie, or substitute, is a less desirable though otherwise perfectly suitable figure that may be ordered during a protracted period of waiting for a premier figure.

Re: the degree of motion in the elbow - if HT are throwing nunchucks in this package, those elbows had better damned well bend back more than 90 degrees.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

People seem very concerned about the range of poses the HT's Bruce Lee body is capable of.

From the pics it looks less poseable than the standard Enterbay Bruce Lee body (due to design of shoulder joints) but probably a lot more poseable than Enterbay's new rubber body.

But none of that matters because the pics have already made it clear it does everything you need.

He can hold the nunchuck pose (one arm across body, one arm bent back reaching over head). That's sort of an extreme angle for any toy and as flexible as you need a Bruce Lee body to be.

What else do you want it to do exactly?

I want a Neca-style voice feature that is motion-activated so that every time I walk past him he says 'wataaaaaah!' or 'oooooooooooooowhoa'.

If the Hot Toys Bruce Lee body has a torso that is covered in the soft rubber material like the Wolverine body or T-800 body, the shoulders should have more articulation than on the Enterbay BL body.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Yeah, the Hot Toys body looks to have more range of motion than the regular Enterbay BL body. I was quite happy with the BL body, so this new one from Hot Toys will do.

LOL about the subsitute fig. But the only figure that could replace a BL is a comic version Batman that is not a DC Direct one.

But please, needing confirmation on the supposed release date.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

ah nice, I didn't realize the Hot Toys one had a rubber body. I thought it was a hard plastic.
