I want to be a macho!
Painful, very painful...
Yes, let those 2 people talk
Flosi's friend:
its horrible
i can see him there but at the same time it looks like him with a bad makeup job and a droopy face
There you have it. Let's close this thread. Someone.... hello?
I have a hunch they are doing this pose for the legendary scale.
You know what? Someone will make another Indy.... Maybe HT will do a TOD version, maybe someone else will but eventually we'll get a bang on Indiana Jones.... This just isn't it.
I want to be a macho!
Mind if I "squeeze" in?
Hey! Hey! Hey-Hey-Hey!
Hey dude... I understand a lot of people being heavily disappointed by this guy...
I mean, you see how much a home-run Supes is, and definitely Indy is not HT's best... still, I think it's the best Indy figure ever released to date...
As much as I like SS Indy sculpt, I had to invest lots of time and money to make him look good...
With HT's it looks very good right out of the box...
All in all, we've come a long way from this:
To this:
HTs is indeed the best version out of the box and since Im not that big into customizing my figures this works for me.
The second member ok with the figure has joined. Welcome
Ive been here.
We need a third to prove the haters wrong (more than two freaks are ok with the figure).Ive been here. The second member ok with the figure has joined. They nailed Superman and Batman recently, but dropped the ball on Indy
Everyone makes mistakes, but this is the only Indy fig made by them, and is more of an iconic character than many others that have got a better quality HS.
This being the first figure and a DX from this license means it should've had a better development than some others.
HT must've bit off more than they can chew and this is the sign, i think it'sgood, good accessories and a good HS (likeness is 70-80% to me), but not at the level that one has come to expect from Hot Toys.
Eyeliner.... ?
I hate to say it, it's the PERS that is really throwing off the eyes.
The head really connects strangely to the neck too. Never noticed one like this. Its just odd. Is that because of the PERS system inside the head -- so they have to have the neck connect at a lower point?
Praise the photographer, but Meh on the figure postPERS sucks. HT should just abandon it completely. I haven't seen one figure where it improved it so much to warrant using it on all DXs.
blame gamePoor Indy. OMG's pics have made it look it's best for sure but he still doesn't have any wow factor for me like the Reeve, Keaton or Nicholson figures do.
I guess PERS is to blame for the eyeliner (gap between eyeball and face) as well as the big round eyes that indy does not have.
No macro lens, just normal 50mm here.
the medusa effectWhy am I getting the feeling that the 'Bay is going to be FLOODED with PERS Jones heads from all those upgrading their various other Indy's with some of the clothes/gear from this figure.
God damn, these look HORRIBLE. Really wondering why I'm still debating the whole thing now.
Man does he look like crap.
Especially now that we've seen Batman, Yoker and Soups.
Wouldn't the PERS knob just be in the back of his head since the hair is removable?
"Helloooo soldier boy... sucky, sucky five dollar?
The HT Indy in this pic looks like a member of the Italian Mafia.
Reminds me of Michael Jackson.
I can't get over his eyes.
Everytime I look at his face, I feel like I need to take a shower.
It's like he's banging my wife and then is looking at my kid all kinds of weird.
