Re: Hot Toys - Batman 1989 - Michael Keaton

My wallet just burst into flames! I can't wait for the preorder. Incredible job from Hot Toys! I was hoping that Batman would have interchangeable portraits.

I'm on the lookout now for a Keaton Bruce headsculpt so I can make Bruce to go with him.

Wow. I wasnt sure with the first pics yesterday but this is truly amazing. Cant wait for this and Joker. And by a weird coincidence im watching Batman right now. :lol

Maybe its just me but that body doesnt look rubber. Looks more like the new predator bodies or something.

Looks fantastic. Too bad they didn't have this ready for SDCC. I would have loved to see it in person too.

Little disapointed they didn't have a second head. After the first DX Batman coming with two heads (or the Joker even) its be a bit of a let down to see each following DX skip that second head.

What ignorance.

If something is off, it's off - particularly something black and white like the sculpt of the armour.

We pay huge amounts of money for these figures, the mego toys cost peanuts in comparison. For the amounts we are shelling out, of course people will point out flaws and demand improvements.

Does that make this a bad figure? Of course not! It's possibly the best Batman figure ever made. But it could be better.

Look who's talking.

The amount of money payed out is all relative to the times. And the points is that Hot Toys is the FIRST company to develop figures with this kind of detail.

You don't like it or don't think it's good enough? Fine. Go back in time and collect toys with no detail. Good lord, I thought I was ____ when it comes to detail. I've got nothing on you guys.

It's possibly the best Batman figure ever made, but it could be better? Wow... listen to yourself. I guess you want Michael Keaton to stand in your house and model the suit? That's just plain :cuckoo:

And here's an idea, don't buy them.
